Hi Anna,
My goodness who would have thought that you would ave gad a conversation in the wee horses defence previously.
I don't want to say it's fate!! However...................
He actually sounds like a lovely boy who hasn't had all that he deserves. I'm sure you will make the right decision although I think you have decided.
Can't help with a transporter but all sounds very positive, it sounds like his luck may be changing.
Keep us posted,
Gail xx |

Oh Anna I am thrilled that it went so much better this time - he is such a good looking boy in his photos. If I was at home I would come and collect him for you myself, but I'm sure you don't want to wait til then if you go ahead...
I haven't used them but Ashdown Horse Transport are based at Nutley - you can google them and see what you think - they also do self drive horsebox hire.

Could the previous owner help with his breeding? |

He really was very sweet and pretty chilled all things considered as well as lovely looking, and of course destiny seems to be stepping in here Definately need to get his back checked out but hearing his history it does seem to be more his previous treatment and hopefully all he needs is some one on one patience and understanding to give him some confidence. |

What a sweet little horse- he doesn't deserve to have been treated so inconsiderately so far.. It does sound like fate as you've already leapt to his defence in the past. As you've spoken to the previous owner, can she tell you how he's bred? I hope you get him home soon!

It's starting to sound spookily like The Aragon Story, where a voice from his past suddenly appeared (via AL) and said who he might be and then when he WAS, told me the whole horrid story of how he got there, then various previously unknown to me people popped up at random and told me the rest of it (including the picked at random and no previous knowledge of her vet from N Ireland telling me about when she gelded him!) from conception to the point at which I saw him coming off the transport! Aragon has been very worthwhile, from an unknown prognosis when I got him, looking dreadful and being very withdrawn and anxious, to today when he happily and very succesfully turns his hoof to anything! Good luck - sounds like a go-er to me, but you will know best! |

I don't know of a transporter but I do know of a vry good Equine Chiroprator. He is a vet and I would have no one else treat my horses.
I can PM you his details if you are interested ` |

Have you managed to find out his breeding or what happened to his papers?

Well, we are now awaiting an osteopaths review of his back...fingers crossed all is ok. In the meantime I have spoken to another previous owner who has told me that he was purchased from a couple in Lincolnshire (not Derby), who apparently bred Arabs and Shires.....?! Ring any bells to anyone? Thanks. |

Well it seems that Lanabanana was right..she is just too clever! There is an Al El Sennari connection as per my other post regarding Arab studs in Lincolnshire. Does anyone know anything about either of these horses? Thanks in advance. |

I have spoken to Rosalind Moore of Marsh Farm Stud and she thinks that this may be Silver Sennari, she's having a look at a picture to see if she recognises him. If it is he is registered and we know who he is!! |
