There was a pic of the old mare from Wales on the original thread about her...think it was just a head and neck study...but will be easy to help recognise her......such a very sad face and skinny neck, poor soul
Some wonderful wonderful caring peeps on A/L and extend sincere thanks for saving this old girl and the pony from a very uncertain future

I saw the photos from the original ad before it was removed. She was tacked up and painfully thin. |

Not seen her myself yet, still waiting for pictures, i know she's back in essex and doing well, they said she's very pretty, ribby, but very bright so hopefully she'll be ok for me to pick her up soon, i remember the picture well of (paris) so will hopefully between us all that saw it have a good idea if this is indeed the same little mare. Thankyou for the very kind offer for rugs i may well be on the lookout for some cheap rugs, i know she came with a couple (but don't know what sort of condition they are in) will have a rummage see what spares i have that may fit her!! Will hopefully have pictures soon |

Ahhh, her face brings tears to my eyes, she looks as if she could tell a story. I wish i could hug her and wrap her up in cotton wool and tell her its going to be ok now. Well done Bigmac,a huge pat on the back to you x |

She's the twin of my other little grey arab mare, they even have the same pink nose, bottom lip, they're going to look a right pair and once she's gained some weight i'll struggle to tell them apart, can't wait to meet her, she's apparently settled in well for the night, just have to arrange transport home for her now!! |

Oh how very kind of you to do this for this old lady.... how do they get like that? Someone must have been so thrilled on the day she was born. What a shame that you can't find her breeding and trace her back. xxxx Good luck, she is lovely |

Thankyou Claire, yes we are in Norfolk, still trying to sort out transport at the moment, have a trailer but no tow bar at the moment so just trying to find a vehicle to borrow, she's very perky so able to pick her up as soon as possible, can't wait to get her home, she'll fit in well with our other old ladies. Would love to trace who she is and where she's come from, will have to see if she's chipped, she must of been somebodys best freind once upon a time, maybe somebody out there is thinking about her, wondering where she is. |
