Hi Debs,
Well all I can say is,
Wait for it?
CONGRATULATIONS
It is indeed KHEMOSABI one of the all time greats and yes I am a bit like Dick Dastardly and his gang,
The true value of any horse is, his, or her get. In other words the quality of what they produce and as important the temperaments of those progeny. KHEMOSABI fulfilled all of these criteria time and time again Through his get and his grand get, with so many different types of mares, the answer to this could lie in his own pedigree, the only thing he is pure in, is that of the Arabian stain. (39% Crabbet, 9% Davenport, 43% Polish, 43% Egyptian, 37.5% Kellogg, 50% CMK (might be more), 18% Abbas Pasha) - percentages calculated by Eva Dano of ME Ranch Arabians.
This in my opinion is why he was so successful with such a diverse cross section of mares,
Truly a legend in his own lifetime.
Now Deb as the Meat Loaf song goes "I will do anything for love ---but I won’t do THAT" that’s how I feel about my photo's. But you could go and look at my photo's on

as a quick aside, had a brief look at BobandEna's photo file - amazing! there is a horse on there called Nanam which is that beautiful plum liver chestnut that i'm sure someone was asking about on the quiz back awhile. In particular, he has a flaxen mane which i think was the sought after atribute of said plum horse. Jen |

Hi Debs,
On the left on page one you will see SETS (Albums) A.B.C.D. if you click on set "A" it will load all 382 photo’s, into a new window, on the top right it will say View as a slide show, click on this and the slide show will begin, if you click on the photo at any time it will give you all the details of the horse.
If this is not available to you then you will have to join Flickr it's free, then ask me to be one of your contacts.
Hope you enjoy them

I stumbled across this site while trying to find more information on a stallion named SHF Southern Whiz. I saw on page 22 where several people were talking about SHF Pearlie Mae.. I was wondering if any of you had any more photos of her or any more information you could share about her. I currently own two SHF Southern Whiz granddaughters and I am thinking about purchasing a mare and colt ( the colt is a grandson of SHF Jazmine ( SHF Southern Whiz X Citona ) I would just love to talk to anyone who knows any more about these particular bloodlines. Thanks |
