Wonderful piccies! Brilliant to see such a happy partnership, you're obviously both really enjoying yourselves (especially the last one ). I know mickey, he's a good horseman. I went to one of his clinics earlier in the year but was a bit disapointed, maybe i should try another once i've got my girls going a bit. fantastic pics

I particularly like the last one where you are both smiling I hope you print it out and frame it. Your sister deserves a bit of a mention too - those are terrific shots |

Smashing pics Jessica....here again an Arab (you know that scatty breed that is only good for the In-Hand Showring) proving that Arabs "do it Better"
Just wonder how many "other" breeds would go round a cross country course in just a headcollar
Those pics of you and your beautiful Boy, truly show the Bonding and Trust which you share. So very refreshing to see in this day of "overbitting and gadgetry" which seems to be the `norm` for Dressage and other disciplines.
A partnership of total Trust, between Horse and Rider. WELL DONE YOU FOR SHOWING THE WAY! A Super boy...and looking so happy and relaxed

Hey Kirsty5278
It was a course run by Mickey Gavin at Newton Cross Country Course. It was a fab day.
What part of the country are you in??
Newton XC course is only about £20 to hire for the day and its an amazing course. Its really great value for money. I was only popping the little one's, but there are some huge jumps too....maybe next time (or maybe not!)
My sister is doing the same course at the beginning of Nov, and we'll be taking pics then too so i'll post them also! Fingers crossed the weather will be kind to us!

Hey Jessica. iT was at the start of the "summer" at Barleyfields equestrian centre. it was just an evening one, and as i said i wasn't that impressed. Mickey is great, really knows his stuff, but there seemed to be some kind of marketing team there that night playing daft music, i could hardly hear what he was saying. When i finally get transport i'm planning on going to one of his day clinics, they look such fun Ros |
