I was wondering if anyone could tell me how this beautiful little filly is doing please? I saw the heartbreaking video on her 'get well' group on facebook but I don't know how recent that is... Any news....??

If you look at her profile on Facebook there are some recentish pictures on there. She still wasn't completely healing in the pictures but remarkable all the same. As you can imagine her coat is heavily frosted with white where she has hair.
I would also love an up to date update!!! |

last post on the facebook group 20/10 "Just a quick update - Crunchie is doing great at the moment. We have had another significant amount of healing and some more slight hair growth. It's very slow but its happening and we're all so chuffed with Crunch because shes so happy and lovin life!" |

Hiya everyone,
thank you for asking about Crunch Kirsty, she is doing great, we are so pleased with her. We went through a bad patch in the hottest weeks through the summer but shes back on track now. I keep in touch with Professor Knottenbelt at Leahurst and he's very pleased with her progress. He gave us a two year time frame for her to be "back to some normality". I posted some more recent pics of her on Facebook on her get well club about a month ago and we've had more improvement since, it seems the cooler weather is always better for her. We're 10 months on now from when it happened but it's as vivid as yesterday. Crunchie has been so courageous throughout, a very strong little filly with such a zest for life, so trusting and affectionate. Her back was a mess but her eyes said come on then mend me, she's so brave and we're so very proud of her.

Great news Lori n Beth! I can vouch for Knotty's timeframes being scary-sounding but accurate... she really is worth the wait and a real trooper for remaining a happy filly Good on you all and keep up the good work |
