I'm saving up to take Rio on one of Mickey's courses next year - I think I'm gonna need it

Absolutely lovely, fantastic harmony between horse and rider. I'm jealous too - of your horse  and your ability .
Re you comment about "jabbing him in the mouth", I bet i'm not alone in thinking an intuitive rider like yourself would be the least likely ever person to jab a horse in the mouth!
and as for "with my lack of jumping experience" (rolls eyes!!!) you are brill |

Lucy / Jessica - just to let you know (this has reminded me) Daniel (from riding club)is arranging a xcountry day at his yard (Woodside off A60) on Nov 15th?? Unfortunately I can't go - still got lameness issues - but Sam is going with her youngster.

THANK YOU everybody for your kind words! We had such a brilliant day, i'll never forget it!
Sarahjo, yes it was at Newton XC course and the weather was peeerfect for us. Mickey often runs courses of all types, but this one was particularly fun!
He's doing another one there next month too.
I can post more PICCIES if you are all enjoying them, I do have loooads! It's nice sharing them!

I wouldn't mind finding out about these courses that Mikey runs? Although don't think I'll be doing much more this year apart from light hacking... oh well maybe next year...
Lucy - yes I'm def going to watch, don't think I'm brave enough to have a go on Angel - thanks for the offer though.
Maybe Jessica would be interested in coming too? Would be nice to meet someone else in the area...

I ride at home in a halter and have been known to jump in it as well. Get some very odd looks @ the local shows I can tell!!! |
