OK ladies, stallions - the problem as usual being that I am better at horses that people and locations!
Those with actual Courthouse /Nuhra connections: Spearmint 1982 (Shammar /Sappho) - 100% Courthouse & hopefully available by AI from Jane's Al Waha Stud Shimnar (Samhan /Atrisha) 1982 - Courthouse /Nuhra breeding via Barton Lodge - foals in last studbook but do not know if still alive & available now Zalim (Bayazar /Zareen) 1983 - Courthouse /Nuhra breeding via Barton Lodge - still available & fertile Shalkar (Mehneer /Sherasa) 1986 - proven performance stallion of Crabbet /Courthouse /Nuhra lines - seen progeny very recently but do not know where he is at stud Khairho (Zourrak /Kasbana) 1985 - proven endurance stallion of Crabbet /Courthouse /Nuhra lines from great Kazra family - owned by late Cheryl Logan - Jan Clarke will know where he is now if no-one on this thread does
Hope others here can help with locations on some of these.
More to follow later - got to dash to RDA. Alexia |

Hi again, didn't the Archers have a filly by Shabako? If so, have they bred from her? I understand that Shabako didn't have much Old English stock? Any ideas what happened to Naraan? Does anyone have contact details for Loretta McKechnie, to see if she kept the Colt entire? |

Ok ladies here how it goes, First of all i really need to read up on the breeding of my mare because you are all reeling off stallions and Courthouse and Old English and i really have know idea its so embarrasing!!! I would really love to breed of Sayyida next year as i havent done it this year! So if you have stud names to go with all these stallions it would be much appreciated. Also i would like to say Spearmint is one awesome looking stallion!
Alexia hope you had a good weekend break. Nikki i will e mail you today im so busy at work its a nightmare

Hi, Alexia you sound like you are a very busy lady! What a shame about Golden Khayyam, it would be a shame to loose his lines, is there anything I or anyone else can do to help? I don't know the proceedures in licencing a stallion, is it exspensive, I'm assuming his situation is complicated?

We are over the moon after worrying!! The AI station where Spearmint and Narim are, have said it's unheard of that that 2 old boys (25 and 27 respectively) have such a good % sperm count when unfrozen. It was worth the gamble sending them .
We are soooo happy!

Dear Jane
I had the pleasure of riding a Spearmint daughter the other day - known as Nimbus but I believe registered as "Nudgee", out of Nowra. She was a bit of a grump tacking up, but a lovely mare to ride, very forward going with a beautiful swinging walk, comfortable trot and a pretty fast canter going the round the fabulous grass headlands near Newton Valence where she lives.

Dear All Ishmaan (Donax x Jaala Sbeyel) is still available to limited mares as he will 25 years old next year. He is 100% English lines and the tail female line is the Lady line and we can trace back to Nuhra, Skowronek, Nasemto name a few! If anyone is interested in his pedigree please email me directly and I will happily supply photos and an extended pedigree. He produced Luhka now owned by NUT. ZB |

Ishmaan is lovely. I saw him last year and was still of the same mind. Lovely mover with a wonderful temperament and, of course, fantastic bloodlines. His mum Jaala Sybeyel was the epitome of an arab mare. |
