Ok Judith here it goes, her sire's sire King Cotton Gold was 99.22 % Crabbet. Her sire's dam Enchantment is 100% Crabbet. Her dam Silver Fawn was by Darjeel who goes back to Nuhra, which is Bahraini breeding. But Indira is again 100% Crabbet so very high % and I do not know how to count this, you really need Bia for the % I only know who is who in Crabbet world. Oh and Darjeel is 87.5 % Crabbet. Also to ad that she must have been a very beautifull girly, same pedigree on the dam side as Lila. Monique |

Oh thank you all!!! When I went to view her to buy - I found a terribly starved, neglected mare....her "loving" owner should have been shot!!!! She soon recovered with me & lots of TLC & we had 7 most wonderful years together - we really were soul mates & I loved her so, so much & she returned my love 100%!!! We did endurance together & had a ball!! I lost her terribly suddenly in 2001 - she was only 17 - due to liver failure - Vet said probably due to Ragwort in hay before she came to us. I still miss her so, so much!!!
She was amazing to look at - had the largest round eyes I've ever seen on an Arab - & WOW could she move!!!! She could out walk, trot, gallop any horse!! & her ears were amazing - they met at the tips

I agree with all in here Judith, such a lovely pedigree!! Also very nice looking on those pictures.. bless you for her good life with you!
She is (was) 96,66% Crabbet (96,65527) & 100% Old English, such a shame you didn't had any foals from her!
She had a grey colt 1991, but he don't have any progeny as I can see.. maybe he's gelded? http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/chancers+glory

Hi Bia
Thanks - I always thought she was high% Crabbet
I had been considering in putting her infoal in the Spring of 2001 - my choice was to have been Imad - but then things happened & I didn't.........we lost her that September.
Chancers Golry was her only living foal (gelding) I did trace his owners who were in N Wales at that time - but they had no registration papers for him - they had bought him as a youngster from a couple (not his breeder) who split up & the papers never arrived!! Apparently he was broken to harness & loved being driven! |
