Sue If you have an idea who your horse may be the AHS get you to fill out one of those markings forms. They then compare your markings with the possible names you have given and if there is a match you can then do the DNA thing.
Its a shame they dont have a record of DNA like the police which if you gave them a hair sample from the mystery horse then they could just put it in and bingo!! Probably too costly!! |

Halonas other chestnut filly was out of crystal leda and i dont think she was at the sale. Mollie must have bought some back for pegi then mollie sold them again. |

looks like none of these colts were castrated before they went to the sale. people dont like buying stallions so they would be more likely to have gone for meat than the filly`s. |

I managed to find the number of mr eric jones who bought 12 of these arab mares, he said he bought them off a dealer who bought them off mollie, he didnt know his name (probably mr savage) he said he bought mares only and no stallions. He said they were rspca cases and he fattened them up and sold them at beeston and llanybydder, so thats why i ended up with my mare from beeston and helona got hers of mr savage as he bought my mare and her mares back for pegi but pegi never paid him so he sold my mare at beeston again. He does not remember any of their names! |

So some how we need to find out which these 12 were. can you start a list guessing them...and
Do we know which ones can back with Mollie from malvern.....
My guess is that if your mare is that sort of age, she will be registered, all the older stock was registered, its only the very recent youngstock that missed the reg.......your mare hasbeen breeding for years with them..Sue |

I am trying to get hold of mollie osbourne but she hasnt been answering for a couple of days but she may remember the names of the 12 that went there, hopefully she can tell us who she sold them to. I thought she sold them to eric jones but he says he bought a load off a dealer. Mollie also owned crystal leda the dam of helona studs chestnut filly. |

We now have the fulllist of those that went to Malvern, and then there were the others left in Nth Wales.. Thanks Sue
Molde, If I remember right, there were fillys & colts foals & yearlings went to Gerry. |

so the horses who were sold through the sale were mostly sold to gerry and the ones she had left at home must have been sold to another dealer. I will try and find out who the other dealer was off mollie, ive been trying to ring her for a couple of days now but no answer. Is there any way we can get a sales list for llanybydder |

No, not unless someone has kept one.
And No one can say that at the moment how many Gerry had, there were about 30 or 31 horses at the Malvern sale and only 2 as far as Annette can tell remained Not Sold....so all the others were sold, we dont have the information to say who had them, Many of these 30 horses were already named & registerd or at least had the paperwork to register them. So far Mandy has only found 2 from Annette list that are not registered. I'm now checking all Annette's info against Mandys info, and in a day or two might have it sorted out.
Secret Heart, the 1998, Grey Colt Secret partner/Just A Legend is with Daphne Cocksridge & was Sold at Malvern
Jabask Al Khora is with Helona was also at Malvern sale. J. Chimenka is racing. Malvern also. Just a legend, was also at Malvern went to Mr Hingley & bred. Kadaka was there & not sold.
I understand Gerry has some, how many remains a mistery,I was told that the auctioneer bit on everything without a bid, and Gerry had them for £60 each, I was also told, just after the sale that Brian split them with Gerry, but, you can bet he'd have been at Beeston the following Wednesday with them, by the following week he told me he'd sold them or they'd gone to meat.
The 1998 filly foal, Secret Partner/MC Natalie Jabask, is one thats not in the stud book and never registered.
Whereas the 1997 Yearling filly, Secret Partner/ Just a Legend, is registered as SECRET LEGEND. ( is a year older so might have been registered by Pegi Etc.) The only way to confirm they are still alive is to trace them.. The prices they fetched at Malvern would almost certainly seal their fate.

Sue, the1998 filly by secret Partner out of Mc natalie Jabask made £120 and the Justa Legend filly £100.
I did wonder at the time whether some of these horses were bought in by the owner as I just couldnt see why someone would let so many go for such ridiculous prices, although some of the foals and yearlings were not in good condition. I remember a black haired lady on the auctioneers rostrum for most of the sale. Was this Pegi does anyone know.

Just spoke to mollie, she said that all the remaining horses that didnt get sold in brightwells went to mr e.s jones who sold them in beeston and llanybudder. Mollie says that they were all younger horses and none of them would be over 15 now!! some had papers an some didnt. she also said that she only bought two grey fillies back for pegi from brightwells which were helonas grey filly and another grey filly. She also thinks but is not certain that jabask sakara is deceased along with m c natalie jabask, madchens jabask and jacici.
I am going to put th rest of theses horses on the horsemart forum to see if anyone has them. |

Which Rest. and how many is all the remaining horses was she talking about, besides the 30 that went to malvern sale, which only two were NOT SOLD.
So Mr Jones must have had to rest them and Mr savage might have bought any of these at Beeston or Llanybydder. Two steps forward & six steps back.
