Hi
It is possible my mare used to be bay, in this case my mare could be jacici, mc madchens jabask, mc lady misteri, mc natalie jabask or just a legend. i will let you know which one she is when the ahs compare markings. |

Did'nt Just a legend, come into the frame before. I wonder what shain knows about this part of the episode. I heard that many were bid for by the auctioneer at just £50 & Gerry had them for £60, he split them with not Les, but Brian Ch. Sth Wales. Wonder if any paperwork went with them, to put the breeding in the cat. would mean it must have. I wonder if we can turn any of these horses up, as still stood up....be interesting...I think it was the 1998, July or August Sale, maybe Annette will confirm....

Molde,HOLD YOUR HORSES, DONT GET TICKING ANY OFF JUST YET.
Jabask Chimenka, is one from the sale, 1996 Grey Filly Foal. Estamera/Bint Natalie, and she's now racing. wonder how long they've had her and were she came from.( I think she might be with Mr & Mrs Malpass) and is registered.
I think it was the foals & yearlings that ended upwith Gerry, do you know him from Beeston, he might talk to you if you ask him nice. Its always easier for them to say they went on the meat. |

Yes, the date of the sale was September 10th 1998.
As far as I'm aware everything apart from 2 horses were sold as they were all entered without reserve, so they had only to fetch the auctioneers minimum starting bid of £100.
The two who didnt sell were a bay/grey 1998 colt by Estamera out of Mc Lady Misteri and a 1998 bay/grey filly by Estamera out of Bint Natalie.
I'm afraid I have no details of who bought any of the horses, there werent a lot of faces I recognised
All were sold as fully registered or eligible for registration.
To this day I have to say I regret not buying a few to safeguard their future, but I had gone with a specific horse in mind and Pegi's horses came virtually at the beginning of the sale.

Estamera. ? looks like no foals born after 1998.(Needs Checking anyone know what happened to him.)

Helona's is Jabask Al Khora.1997 Greysecret partner/Jacici. AHSB*30312.She was at the sale. so when/how did helona get her????
Maybe Estamera was gelded and so not in use..
Will look at all the others to see if I can find any registered names. |

| I have just emailed the lady who owns vienna and she said she bought her as a 6 month old foal from a guy who owns her sire and dam, her sire is tc jabaskman and her dam is sondas jabask, i wonder if he still owns the dam! ive asked for his name and i will ask for his number so we can se what he has got up there. |

I have been looking through stud books today and using the list from the sales it might now be easier to eliminate a few........shall we start .............. Ive just had a long telephone conversation with Sue (Rozyrider) and I am taking books and info over to her house at the weekend as she is as nosy as me and it would be great to find out who your mare is........

Molde, Remind me again, which is the other one Helona has, Jabask Al Khora, & regiered, which was sold at Malvern and ended up at Mr Savages, & which other, wondering if that one was also at Malvern sale..
and just to confirm Jabask Sakara..was NOT at the sale, so might not have gone the same way, and how can you check markings???????
I think you can cross off Dekota Willow 1998 (Estamera/Cr Bint Natalie) She's with Mrs Malpass. & racing & Was not Sold at the Malvern Sale. I posted pic's of her from Wolverhampton in may...
Looks like all the older Mares at Malvern were NOT grey... So have any others turned up that did not go through Malvern that day ( Did Mr Savage have any others) and how long did he tell you he'd had thoses mares,yours & those two with Helona???????????..

What Others are on your list, what has Shian told you about your mare & her breeding/age.
Mandy, Will start to look at the older Grey mares on your final paragraph..both on allbreeds...Secret Dewiza 1991 Grey. & Casi Jabask 1992 Grey.
Secret Heart 1998 Grey Stallion is at stud with Daphne Cocksedge, another one sold at malvern sale on 10.9.98. so thats good news and encouraging.
