We have sun here but wind also, waiting for the snow tonight then out in the Jeep to play in it! Meant to say Judith, when you were on the Plusrider site, did you look at the sales page? I have listed the last of my retail stuff on there at trade prices to clear it, can't be bothered to type it out again on here! If you want anything, first come first served, I still have most of it, let me know. I don't retail now, I only sell what I can make,oz:) |

Heavy rain and hail this morning, sunny and very windy now though, in East Sussex. Looking forward to some real snow though, if we get it! Nicky |

No real snow but its cold enough to freezing the balls off a brass monkey! Just been down to do Honey, spent an hour de-fluffing her in the wind tunnel that is our barn. Theres a door at either end and when they are both open all I need do is turn her into the wind and hey presto automatic hair removal! Problem is shes SO very hairly, and casting loads...YO had her washing out and I suspect she'll find its now covered in ginger hairiness! |

The weather report from Mellor is as follows, last night howling gales ALL night, garden fence (that OH has pain stakingly built) was smashed beyond repair! Today has been more wind, rain , sunshine, hail and finally gotthe snow! Now its bitterly cold and mum has just pronounced the central heating will be left on all night! |

The wind here will take the fillings out of your teeth and we keep getting hail - noticeably whenever I poo pick...
But Amelia feels lovely and warm and trotted off quite happily when I checked her tonight.

We've had some really odd weather today. All morning the sun was shining but it was windy. At 7 am we have a light shower and the most vivid rainbow I have seen for ages appears.
Mid morning the wind tunred in storm force gails and then just before lunch we had hail like no other. I thought the windows at work were going to smash.
It then came out bright sunshine again and warm, so much so I went to lunch with no coat. Soon after lunch we has snow, real snow which is a bit of a novelty in my neck of the woods. Then bright sunshine again followed by another hail storm like no other. I thought the morning hail storm was bad but this was so much worse. The hail was the size of giant peas!!!! This disintergrated into sleet.
By now its 4 pm and the sun comes out again. In fact the sun set is crimson and beautiful. At 5.00pm we have the mother of all thunder storms with fork lightening and sleety rain followed by yet more hail.
At 6pm there is an earie stillness, no wind or rain but the colour of the sky is a sickly grey. By 6.30pm we have sleet, lots of it with the temperature noticably dropping.
What the hell is going on with the weather?
