Just seen that at the next sale (26th)
"We have a special section to start the sale with approx 50 Caspian/CaspianArabian/Miniature Sport Ponies ..."
Wish I could get the time off work. Not to buy, just to have a look at them.

I will be interested to learn of the origin of these ponies, as I think I will have guessed rightly as to their origin') |
Many years experience owning & riding my own horses. Fell in love with Arabians at 11 years old when given a ride on "Trevallion", a 3/4 bred who was a livery where I worked as a stablehand. I have never forgotten that ride, Thank You Yvonne- should you ever read this!I now have 2 beautiful purebreds.

That's a frighteningly large number to end up at one sale - will they find good homes? |

thank you for highlighting this sale. A friend of mine is going, in the hope of purchasing a few. She has a small stud. She inquired about buying some of these horses a while ago and the asking price was 2K, think they'll be lucky to make 200 guineas at York? |

There are some interesting horses in that sale apart from the Caspian ponies.
A PBA mare in the sale with foal at foot in the catalogue, ad on preloved also. Another really lovely jumping horse - why is he there? With a bit of googling you find an ad for him at a good price where the owner says he won't go to just anybody, then he turns up at a sale. The poor owner must either be desperate or there is a dodge.
Same thing for the lovely palominos. They look like good horses.
I hope the Caspian horses get snapped up, I always thought that was one of the rock solid studs but appears not.

Jackiedo, I have no idea what you look like I will be there from about 11am. I'll have a navy Toggi tee shirt on and I'll be with a tallish chunky bloke with dark hair |
