Hi again everyone, I'd like to Thank you all so very much for your support again, I've spoken to Mandy and she's relayed all info on to me and I am blown away by people's kind offers of help!!! I just wanted to update the situation that there is a small possibility Brujo could be in Torquay not Taunton. If anyone is around that area can you please keep your ears and eyes open for my boy, he is more than likely to be at livery if he is there I would have thought. I can't believe he's been missing for 2 months now Thanks again everyone!! |

I cannot help thinking that, given the apparent determination to keep him hidden, that there is Zero chance he is in Torquay or Taunton. Everything here is totally public, and I would bet that if he was there, he isn't now. It would be madness to think that the loaner is not reading this thread. |

Has the girl moved house when hes possibly been moved to the other end of the country? Or do you think she has sold him? |

All I can hope is that the publicity surrounding this case will lead to him being found and returned to his rightful owner, obviously the loanee will be reading this thread, but I truly hope that others will also read it and realise the heartbreak that the owner is going through and make the right decision and reveal where he is. |

Second what Callisto has said. It can't be that easy to hide and move a horse around without help and a very vivid imagination for explanations to Yard Owners and what about family and friends? Surely they can see sense if the "loanee" can't. I keep thinking how frustrated and desperately worried I would be in this situation. Wishing very hard that Brujo is back home soon |

Hi Vik1, the loanee's mother is in the South West which is why he may have been moved to that area.
I'm with Callisto and Ari, keeping it public will hopefully persuade the people with integrity to speak out if he appears.
I'm hoping he's not locked up somewhere, having bred him and kept him until Nat bought him at 2 I know how much he likes being out, he hates being stabled more than overnight.
Thanks again to everyone,
Mandy

How about taking out a large advert in the local free horse magazines- wanted missing on loan as heading then big pic of Brujo, don't go into too much detail, just give phone number and Facebook details !!!!! Will certainly shake some people up. Also get lots of A4 posters printed send them to tack shops - feed merchants etc. You could also do a postal drop through the Royal Mail to specified postal areas. Also contact the local editorial desk of all newspapers and Local news stations. Good Luck Alison |

what about sending a pic to local vets and farriers and ponyclubs ?
I have been in the same situation years ago. Could not go to the police as the horse was not stolen, I gave it to a person, even transported it to "my" person - so it was only a "civil" thing, nothing I could involve the police.
after 9 month !! I found my girl - in that time I got a couple of answers and every time I followed them, I just got shocking news that "my" person did not pay for rent himself, rent for horses, took cars, other people equipment's etc. pp.
When I finally found my horse, I had to go to court and had to fight a "title" (sorry, do not have a clue how you call it in England) to get my horse back. If I would have take her home all ready I would have to pay a lot of money. That was hart as well, knowing where my girl was, not taking her home legally, getting someone from court in that stable for getting her legally fixed in that stable and no permission of moving that horse as well (in that way the stable owner and "my" person would had to pay a lot of money). Finally the day at court. I got my horse back - my enemy did not even appear. During that time "my" person took off and did the same thing to other horse owners as well.
I think that was the only time in my life you could call me very skinny!
Good luck - I hope you find your horse. |

How about sending a photo of him to the Auctioneers offices, - as many [older] horsey people don't do facebook etc. so won't see him via internet. [Sales at Exeter tomorrow as he may now be in SW.] |

Here's a few reminders of the lovely Bru, I'm having a few problems with the new photobucket so sorry about all the text.
Thanks for all the idea's Nat has done most of them !
The press is a difficult one as it could potentially damage her court case, hopefully I'll ge hold of Nat tomorrow and hear what her lawyer thinks about going to the press
Thanks folks, please keep looking
Mandy

We do know for a fact that there is a yard owner harbouring Bru in Scotland. That owner is either incredibly isolated from the real world to not have a clue about the hunt for Bru by his owner or does not have any scruples in letting themselves be duped into aiding and abetting this unhinged brat in her scheming.
We know that the culprit is laughing her head off at the people up there in Scotland that she has already used and abused in helping her spread her false trails. She is not by a long way some poor little girl that fell in love with Bru and erroneously tried not to return him. She is a callous scam artist hoodwinking the people who thought they were her friends.
The clock is now ticking the countdown for her to have to come clean and return Bru, if she has the sanity to realise that her game is up. So the question to those 'friends' still aiding and abetting in the concealment of Bru is this: Do you really want to sink with this stupid girl and forever more be sited as being involved in attempting to help her commit this crime?
As another member stated on this thread
"if she is reading this she should also know that the horse world is a small world when it comes to stolen horses and the Hispano Arabe world is even smaller so do the right thing NOW and return Brujo you will not be able to hold your head ever again with honest horse people and you deserve the vilification that is going to come your way way" |
