made me chuckle... first video he is being rather rude to a helper asking larry to move over.. claiming she is shouting of him... she speaks just as loud herself....

Hello, I thought you might like some news about Viuga's great-great grandson in Azerbaijan! Some of you will remember that Viuga (1983, Aswan/Nastavnitsa) with the name 'Paris' was rescued in UK in very poor condition last year, and that she now lives at am equine sanctuary. You can read about her and see recent photos of her looking very well and happy at their FB page, Equine Market Watch. Anyway Viuga's 1992 daughter Evridika by Esplendor was sold from Tersk Stud to Azerbaijan in 2001, there she produced a daughter in 2003 called Ebru by Avat (Viking/Afishka by Pirit). And Ebru's son, Erden, born in 2008, by Notarius (Aspect/Navigacia by Gwizd) is unbeaten in all 8 of his races so far, and as recognition of this fine achievement he has been awarded Azerbaijan's 2012 WAHO Trophy. Here is a photo of the happy winner receiving his award.

The videos require flash installed in your browser. Do you have it installed?
Thanks for the tip Rui. Probably flash is not installed, but I'll look into it. I've followed Paris' recovery, so it's really annoying not to be able to see the videos.

A quick update on Paris. Things seem to be going normally with her:
Other than that all is well at the sanctuary. Paris is bored with the snow now, being Russian bred she probably finds this little bit we've had a petty nuisance, more than the threat us Brits imagine it to be...she's doing alright is Silly Bint Aswan, she certainly loves her boiled barley and barley ring puffs regardless of what the weather chucks at her. Under her rugs she is snug and warm and well covered on her ribs and smells of baby powder...you could almost eat her in the nicest possible way :-) I love her expression of pure contentment.
