 Hi everybody I'm new to AL, although I have been a regular visitor to the site for a long time. i got bitten by the arabitis bug 9 years ago when I was looking to buy a horse to replace my gelding who was suffering with arthritis in both hocks. Decided I wanted an Arab, didn't want a mare. Guess what I ended up with? I fell in love with a beautiful gentle mare called Soffistication bred by Carole and Roy Ratcliffe, she was everything I could have wanted and we had lots of fun, sadly in October 2009 she got stress Laminitis and although we battled for 6 months in March 2010 I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have her put to sleep. I miss her everyday, but I am fortunate to have a part of her as 2 years ago I bought a weanling colt called Monte Carlo AM out of her half sister MG Saffire, who is following in his auntie Soffie's footsteps.

Welcome. So sorry about Soffistication Please keep us updated about Monte Carlo and photos, loads of help here how to put photos on, and would love to see Soffistication, if ok with you, is there anything more beautiful than a gentle Arab mare |
