I am really worried.... on Sunday night all my mini mares/fillies went missing from their paddock in front of the house. I think they escaped rather than taken. A neighbours daughter was coming home from somewhere at 2am and saw them on the lane (she didn't alert anyone). We spent all day Sunday looking for them to no avail. We have alerted the police in both Shropshire and Powys and nothing has been reported as found. All the neighbours have been alerted. We are hoping someone has found them and put them in a field... we just don't know. I am desperate to find them. What do i do??
I can't think straight.... we have just lost our youngest son (aged 19) and on Friday I was diagnosed with Cancer... I just can't think.
Where are my poor little ones. Can anyone help? I live between Meifod and Llansantffraid (Nr Welshpool)

Really sorry to hear of all your trauma. I live between Meifod and Guilsfield if i can be of any help. Have you contacted all the local vets? What about contacting the Shropshire Star and County Times also and get them to get a reporter down. I should think someone has put them in a field so you just need the word out. Also how about putting a poster up in the garage at Llansantffraid and also the post office in Meifod. Tricia |

I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. Sending lots of positive vibes your way and keeping my fingers crossed that you find them safe and sound. Sure someone has just put them in a field but forgotten to alert anyone.

Have you tried local tack/feed stores and livery yards, also the police? I came home from work several years ago and found 2 strange horses in my stables; my horses were safe in their field. I live in a small lane and someone had seen the horses in the lane near my house and shooed them into stables for me thinking they were mine! They hadn't told anyone as they knew I would find "my horses" when I got home at 7.30pm. I rang the police and they had been contacted by the owner and were looking for the horses but of course no one could find them as they were in my stables behind the house all day. I couldn't get my horses in until the squatters had gone and then had to muck out again as the stables were a real mess!!!!
Sorry to hear of all your troubles, I hope this one is sorted soon.

Sorry to read this you seem to be having an awful time right now, i agree about facebook also get some photos on there and on here too, if you put them on facebook ask people to share the photos its amazing how many people will then get to see them, i do hope they are found safe and well, and when you get them home give them a good stern talking to for leaving home, good luck and keep your chin up. |

Thinking of you, if you can put some photos on we can share and descriptions would be good. My horses went for a walk one day and were found in a farmers field a mile away. |

Have only just read this and am so sorry to hear of your dreadful time. Hope they are back safe and sound with you by now. I wish I could offer some practical help, but please PM me if you want to talk about your cancer. So many A.L's reached out to me when I was diagnosed. If I can offer any help please, please, let me know. Someone from AL saved my sanity when I found out and I love her as a sister now. xxxx |
