Hi Smiler, She looks so " at peace" & relaxed in your last photo.....If she could speak I don't doubt her story would be a heartbreaking one to hear. At least from now on tho' her story will be a happy one. ALL CREDIT & WELL DONE to YOU & navaho621. Best Regards Kim Gasper. |
Many years experience owning & riding my own horses. Fell in love with Arabians at 11 years old when given a ride on "Trevallion", a 3/4 bred who was a livery where I worked as a stablehand. I have never forgotten that ride, Thank You Yvonne- should you ever read this!I now have 2 beautiful purebreds.

Thanks for posting pics Kim, she looks happy...though she always does when there is food around lol. Shes certainly a spritely old girl. To be honest with everyone although she does look poor, i do think for some reason she has got to a point where she is never going to look fantastic though there is certainly room for improvement :) Good luck with her Kim & keep the pics coming...like i said prove them wrong ;) |

yes teeth did need doing bit long at the back , i bet she does she is a lovely old mare , but even in just a week she has put on loads of weight i think going from 1 feed a day to 3 small meals is doing the trick lets hope she keeps improving going to send your headcollar back later today |

Glad her teeth werent too bad, my friend did look & say she thought they werent that bad considering her age. Did the dentist say thats what was causing her dribbling? I think splitting it into smaller meals is much better if you can do it, which is what we did initially when i had her in, i was hoping the grass would help with her weight which is why i decided to turn her out. So nice to see her settled now though, we will have to come & visit & bring her a carrot or two one day |

Weird wasnt it? We noticed it the day before she traveled, glad its stopped now though, maybe just one of those weird things we'll never get to the bottom of. Let me know what the vets say, hope it all comes back good |
