Well, lame or not, I'm getting him and we'll see what the situation is when he gets here and has settled in and hopefully feels and looks better. Thanks very much, everyone, for the support and encouragement - much appreciated at this rather nerve-racking time. Buying a horse I haven't met? Must be mad!! No change there, then! |

Good for you Zooscat! I've got everything crossed that A is just in need of TLC. Must be very hard waiting for him to arrive to see what the situation is. I don't think you are mad, nothing ventured nothing gained! |

Wow, so amazed Kim spotted this chap as her mares son! I spoke to Kim at Hocon at length about Kaz, as I remembered her from a few years ago, as I am sure many do, before her travels. Lovely mare!
Mum enjoying a wonderful life and now it seems son will too!

Getting there! Agreed price paid in full into TCO's bank a/c. A now has had his feet trimmed and re-shod; still being fed, rugged, T/o day and stabled at night. TCO being very amenable and saying how the horse is really looking better and he wouldn't dream of charging me livery whilst he is there! A is now fully insured, the wheels are in motion for his accommodation to be set up on Sunday, before he arrives "sometime next week" depending on Howard the Transport Man, whose schedule we shall know by Sunday. ,Just need to hear from HTTM, and negotiate the relevant time slot off work! |
