...... your plans for the coming weekend?
The weather is meant to be fantastic..!!
I am planning another trip to see my girly.
I have a lot of trailer training to do with her… so this weekend is all about education. I am also going to play with a few of Liz’s other horses, she has 2, 4 year old mares, a 3 year old colt and a yearling filly that I will be doing stuff with, trailer training, walking out etc. so I soooooo excited about this weekend. I’ll go out on a little ride on Mila too…. this will be our first hack so this I also very exciting. However, we will be sticking to walk…. As she is on holiday at the minute, I haven’t had the time to do any formal schooling, so walk is all we know at the moment.
Mila is coming home in 4 months and 6 days…..woohoo…!!

Sounds lovely
I've got a show on Saturday, unless it's just too hot and then was meant ot be moving Shesky to his new box on Sunday, but have to do that tonight now as new livery is due tomorrow, so going to have my hair done and then BBQ with friends to watch the footie and the planes (it's Biggin Hill Air Fair this weekend) |

My Arab is not a big water fan but I think he appreciates a bath when it is really hot. I gave my Mini Shetland his first bath a few weeks ago and he was not impressed. Luckily I hadn't covered him in shampoo before we had to give up I will have another go this weekend Enjoy the sunshine everyone and have fun doing whatever you all end up doing |

Oh no - what's wrong with Spider?
Our Head Boy (not sure he would like me calling him that lol) and a livery are at Hickstead - I think in the 1.10 classes on Friday... If you see a guy on a gorgeous grey fleabitten WB leaping about the warm-up, please cheer them on Wish I could remember her showname, but her stable name is Fluffy! He even lets me ride her sometimes, but not been brave enough to jump her yet - she can do sideways very well |

Not exactly the weekend but later on this afternoon I will be lugging 40 bales of hay off the field, into my horse trailer then unloading them at home, then going back another two times, will be exhausting but worth it to know I have my winter stock in . Then tonight we are heading off to Blackpool for a long 'bucket and spade' weekend for Amber (6). Hope the weatherman is right this time
Good luck to all at Midland Festival |

Will look out for Fluffy! Spider still lame from training ride on Sunday. Vets coming tomorrow. Took him on the beach yesterday as I thought it was a nice therapeutic thing to do and got attacked by a blooming dog. I was screaming like a banshee at rubbish owner, about ten people kindly circled Spider trying to ward it off or catch it (very brave given they were all likely to be either bitten or kicked) Anyway too scared to do beach thing for a bit. Spider unharmed by dog which is a miracle since it was trying to bite his hocks. Cant believe how little control some people have over their animals. Sorry to digress |

We are doing dressage on sun , my stallions first test of the year and hes only ever done one before and that was last year so should be fun. My instructor is riding him and he went fab for her today so that probably means he will be a tinker on sun but he may surprise us.I am hoping its not too hot as he dose not like the heat bless him. Hope everyone has a good weekend no matter what they are doing. |
