I moved house in December and that's me just got internet at home at last! Don't know why it took me so long to get it done So, after months of snippets here and there from work I sat up really late last night catching up and it's so good to get back online, but today I'm Think we all felt sleepy so just gave the girls the day off and took some pics to share with you.
Po has a sore back right now, here she is relaxing in her magnetic rug which her old mum sent to her. I'm walking her out in hand and massaging her twice a day, life is really tough for Polianka right now
When I was taking the pics of Po look what Polka's up to!
Then, trouble arrives!
Sleepy girls all round today
Took these pics yesterday. Thought I'd start desensitising Inka to things we'll meet outside. Nothing fazes her, she let me groom her with the bag and when I hung it from the post to flap around she ripped it off (note her skeptic mum in the background not going near the horse eating bag! )
I've been putting tack on her and preparing her for the big 'sit on and hope not to fly' moment! She's solid, very willing, chilled and I think she's going to make a great little riding pony
Sorry, finally! I thought this was a cute one! Mum and daughter sharing a blade of grass!
Sorry for the pic overload, there just wasn't much else happening today... No excuses now, I really must get my website updated, Polka needs to blog!

Your lovely girls are looking very happy indeed! Poor Po, she has been through it in the last few years, although judging by the look of her she's enjoying her time off! I so love seeing pictures of your little family, and how they get progressivly more cheeky over ther generations! Glad you're back on line too xxx |

Hi and thanks it's good to be back proper
Yes, Po's been taking me and herself through the mill for almost 2 years now, I can only hope beyond hope I get her going to stay going!
Reading some threads about selling horses that are 'wasted' in fields and I'm thinking I could/should be doing more with my youngsters and they are as you see so often lazing about but not going to pressure myself, they're happy and we'll get there in the end albeit like the tortoise
Fee x
PS Jen can you update me on your two, I think I read you sent them somewhere? How are things going? |

Fee the look so happy and chilled out. How grown up Inka looks, Wow :) the plastic bag is brilliant. H would do that, Mats would leap 20 feet and then stand with her tail vertical and blow fire at it :)
It made me sleepy looking at the pictures :) |

Your horses are beautiful, and in my opinion there is no such thing as a wasted horse (unless they're going straight to the slaughter house.)If they give you pleasure they don't care if its hare or tortoise pace. |

Fee, I sent my two down to Alethea Antonaides (hello Alethea !) for weaning as I didn't have the facilities to do it myself.
K is back with me, totally 'wasted' in the field with her little pony chum and Sazi is down at prep school with Alethea still . He is due to be gelded in a week or two's time and will hopefully do a couple of shows before he comes back to me in August all being well.
Your girls always looks so utterly content bless them . Hope Po is soon feeling better .
Bet you are glad to be back on-line and hopefully settled in your new house .
