Paleogeia was indeed also bred (as Delyth suggested) to a straight egyptian sire, the lovely KZ Ibreez. The result was a beautiful filly, SG Petra, now owned by a lady in Scotland who is delighted with her (Petra and Paleogeia below..)
Palemira is also more than half sister to Claire Ford's stallion, SG Palesstreem (by Essteem) who is currently doing great things on the ridden circuit. There is also SG Portia, a beautiful bay 5 year old mare by Jullyus JJ out of Paleogeia still down at Georgian Arabians.
Its lovely to hear that Palemira has such a lovely home and whatever you do with her I am sure you will have great fun! Keep us posted on how she settles in?
She has arrived - bless her. She walked off the trailer rather wearily on Sunday afternoon. She had travelled really well considering the length of her journey and I both thank and can fully recommend Cloe (transporter) for taking such good care of her. Also to Kate who travelled with her part of the way until she had settled.
We went for a little walk yesterday and did a brief training session - she responded so quickly - such a bright spark. Here is a picture of all 4 of my "big girls" in their stables just before it went too dark to take photos. Will take more pics when she has settled in.
