So sorry, what a tragic end for a lovely mare. You must be beside yourselves. Console yourself with her beautiful daughter, she left you a gift to treasure and remember her by. Thinking of you xxxx |

Thank you all so, so much. My filly is keeping me going and reading all your wonderful messages, I can't cry much more. Feeding every two hours keeps my mind busy and tiredness numbs the pain.
I have to apologise to dear Kim and Kelvin, I've left Fredorik off the the list of foals from Fantastica. I am so tired and a bit hazy.
Fredorik is a stunning colt, now a stallion, out of Fantastica and he has won many shows and is a lovely stallion for Kim and Kelvin. I shall add him to the roll of honer for Fanny.
When I feed Blondie and Syd, both have differing amounts, I get mugged and am trying to get a lovely picture for you all. When they settle down for a sleep they cuddle up together with Syd lying in Blondies legs. I will sit for a few hours tomorrow and try to get that picture for you all. Here is the two after a run around.
God bless you all and thank you again.

Couldn't help but be moved to tears reading your post - got some odd looks on the train I will tell you. Such sadness, but hopefully you you get such joy from your new arrival that it will help ease the pain and let you come to terms with the loss - she looks a beautiful girl. I am sure we will all look forward to hearing updates on her and how she progresses.

Dearest Sue and John such a tragic loss of your beautiful fanatica and in the most tragic of circumstances. God bless you both for your courage and strength during this awful time and may Blondie ease the pain of your loss. Fanny has left you a beautiful gift of a precious filly and I hope in some way she will be able to replace Fanny in your hearts. Thinking of you Anne x |

Dear Sue, How heartbreaking - what a traumatic experience. I am so very sorry indeed to read about what happened to your beautiful mare. I fill up every time I see the pics of her little filly who will of course keep you very busy and hopefully bring you joy. I am sure some of the lovely people/comments on here will give you strength and support.
Your special mare will live on through her beautiful baby. Once again, I am so sorry for your loss.

You already know how sorry I am about your tragedy. I was so looking forward to getting to know Fanatica and the visits to see her foal. But I am so pleased to see the photos of Blondie and her pet lamb. She truly is a little miracle. Fate has dealt a cruel blow, with a precious gift to soften the pain.

Oh Sue,
I am so so sorry to hear this about G.Fantastica. She was a lovely lady who gave you some awesome foals - her filly is adorable and I so wished I hadn't weaned my friends mare and foal 2 weeks ago or we might have had a milk supply for you
