Is anybody going?
Auvation Sire-“Aurabba” Dam-“Elvenia”. Chestnut pure Arab Stallion, 19y/o, 14-3hh.
Welsh Chestnut Mare, 17y/o. Due to foal to Arab stallion Theo, (A bit of googling shows the welsh mare produced a PN eventer)
“Emily Rose”. Sire-“Spirit of Silver” Dam-“Princess Emily”. Grey Mare, has been running with Theo,
“Hana Zuleika”. Sire-“Das Che Guavare” Dam-“Zuleika Twilight Bint Mannie”. Grey registered Arab Mare, 4y/o.
I imagine this is the Theo mentioned. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/theo22
Plus the usual scattering of nice PBAs.

These also:
MRS D CARLISLE
48. “Gellisiriol Swansong” 94947. Sire-“Thorneyside More Magic” 27970 Dam-“Gellisiriol Alwenna” 74031.
Chestnut Mare, 17y/o. Due to foal to Arab stallion Theo, fantastic brood mare, stock selling well, excellent in show jumping and dressage.
49. “Emily Rose”. Sire-“Spirit of Silver” Dam-“Princess Emily”.
Grey Mare, has been running with Theo, registered Arab stallion since Feb ’09. Registered Arab Volume 19.
50. “Hana Zuleika”. Sire-“Das Che Guavare” Dam-“Zuleika Twilight Bint Mannie”.
Grey registered Arab Vol 22 Mare, 4y/o. Attractive mare, granddaughter of the well known stallion Hannif, HB. For sale due to stud reduction.
The said Mrs Carlisle had the last ones dam (think it must have been) plus another one entered at Llanybydder about 2 yrs ago - again a stud reduction - I went to look - but didn't buy....not thin - but not well kept if you know what I mean (feet etc!)........why on earth do people like this keep on churning them out???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Living so close to Llanybydder is so tempting!!!! |

As ive already said above if anyone is interested in contacting the owner i could find contact details, also would it not be better to contact her if anyone is interested rather than putting these poor mares through the stress of the sales?? The offer is there if anyone wishes to take it up. |

I can't believe I'm reading this, Auvation was a prolific winner as a youngster, we backed and produced him as a 5yo, and he was 5th in the Novice Ridden at Malvern in a very strong class. He has been through the wars a bit when his owners split up and I know a few people have tried to buy him, he was in the village next to us for a few years, but then I saw some youngsters for sale on here and hoped someone responsible had bought him, it doesn't look like that now. He is (or was) the sweetest of horses and was very easy to back (once he'd learned it was OK to drop his head). I know without asking her that Lisa (Lisa Rachel) would geld him if someone is able to buy him, I am extremely upset about this and if Ol hadn't got MS we would have him, just to retire him but we really can't take on another mature stallion at present. I'll ask Judith to post a pic of him at Malvern when we had him here. I really hope someone will decent will buy him. Could someone PM me with the name of the seller,
Mandy

There can't be many Ben Rabba lines ones in the UK? he was here in an era where there was no AI and mares had to travel, unlike the scores born today to the flavour of he month stallion. so sad to be selling him on. |

I hate horse sales full stop, and feel sorry for any horse landing up there, but it is unbelievable a Ben Rabba grand son should be sold like this. |

how very frustrating. The amazing thing is that I have rang four different vendors of arabs on the for sale list on here and NONE have returned my calls, so to see what might be potentially good horses going for a song in somewhere unreachable is .vfrustrating and very very sad. My welsh cob was sold via LLannbyder to his last owner, I bought him and have owned him for 14 years so fingers crossed these have good luck. |

so sad some terrific Crabbet lines there. for what they will fetch at auction, you would have thought the owner could have given them to serious breeders who wish to preserve these lines. |

I know of someone that is looking for a crabbet stallion, sorry if I got it wrong and hes not crabbet, but if he is pm me please, can someone buy these horses and keep them until good homes for them, I could take one, but I have transport costs on top, which is nearly 700, but someone must be able to get them, the sales tend to be for the meat man and only a few get decent homes |
