Ryazan (and all his slaves and hand maidens!) have had a particularly difficult winter battling with mud fever. After recurrent bouts of getting it better and then it creeping back (even though he was smothered with various things from the vet, and managed with obssessive care by above staff team, under close supervision by vet), it now seems to be well on the way to fully clearing up. (Hope I'm not speaking too soon...) It's left his leg (only had it on one of his white legs) very hairless. Anyone know of anything which will encourage hair regrowth? I remember using Camrosa in the long distant past on a friend's horse, but cant remember how/if it was any good. Anyone got advice? Many thanks, folks

I was also going to suggest aloe vera - I have seen it used successfully on a tear type wound - good hair regrowth, no white hair regrowth ( it was a bay) and minimal lumpy scarring.

When Roup cut a "letter box" in his knee (trying to walk on air to impress the girls - forgot he had a rider, and fell over, LOL!) I used aloe vera gel on it, and there's no sign of any injury there at all now - not even any white hairs. So I'd give it a thumbs up

I have been using Camrosa on my boy and it is excellent. The hair is now regrowing through the grease. Very good product IMO
