As we come to the end of 2009 let us light a candle to remember those horses and people that we have lost this year.
Let us pray for those that are ill or injured and wish them a speedy recovery.

And for those men and women serving abroad this year and haven't made it home for Christmas and New Year.
Lighting a candle is a lovely idea. Happy New Year Pauline. |

Yes lovely idea and a good way to enter 2010, today the sun is shining it is cold but brisk and I feel happy to be alive. We must remember those not so fortunate, count our blessings and try and do unto others as we would hope they would do unto us.
Happy New Year Everyone Ali |

What a beautiful idea. I lost one of my beloved old cats, Morse, 12 days ago and this is the first time I've been able to write about it.
Thank you, xx |

What a lovely thought and thank you.
So glad I lit a candle last night and unwittingly joined in. Thanks for mentioning Freddie Libby. I had vowed "no more tears" but it was very short lived. Not a day passes that I dont think of him.
Hope our candles light the way for the new ones to find their soul mates and live happy ever after.
