Great pics Tracey - Tinkerbell is so cute
Love Nala - we've had Rotts for over 30 years, having said that we lost our beautiful Tara last summer to cancer and so are without one at the moment, I know we'll have another one before too long, one more reason why I'm glad to see the end of 2009.
to you & Jess and all your lovely animals.

This is what it's like in our part of North Wales. Cheshire and Merseyside can be seen, snow free, in the distance.
Carly was getting bored in the field and wouldn't leave us alone while we were doing all the chores (Tikki and Rooster had gone off for a snooze in the sun), so we took him for a walk in the snow, ending up at the pub (again!) |

It's all very pretty isn't it but it's really getting on my t*ts now that I am back at work and am trying to fit it all the extra work the snow has brought with my paid employment |

Snow in Cheshire this morning Loads of the stuff
Was panic stricken when I woke up thinking Kazzy would be snowed in and miserable but fear not he loves it
They got plenty of hay (about 2 bales between 4 of them) and have all had a feed this morning and he's happy.

What fabulous pictures!
It's just starting to snow here in Oxfordshire - there's a stillness about things and a strange light, and I think it's going to snow a lot more before tomorrow!
I do love the snow (especially in the sunshine); it's the slush and the clearing up afterwards that's such a drag... |

I love the snow too but the logistics of getting things sorted in it can be quite wearing.
I've just moved my two and am trying to sort out sourcing hay for them this morning which has been quite challenging! No-one will commit to delivering tomorrow because of the forecast so my dear friend has gone off in her car to secure a couple of bales and a bag of mix. Thank god they are in her back garden so that I don't have the worry of trying to get to them if I'm snowed in (oh plus I haven't got a car at the moment!).
Just heard the forecast and it sounds extremely worrying for some snowwise . |

Loving the snow piccies Bit fed up of it today though, grey and miserable and we've had about 7 inches fall; all outside water troughs frozen so lots of manual work (carrying enough to water 18 outside). |

This is Cupid- we are told that he is an arab quarter horse cross. I rescued him four years ago from a terrible trekking stables in New Mexico, whilst we were living in the US. We trucked him 2000 miles across the States to the east coast where we were living at the time. We fed him up then all of us returned to Britain where he enjoys happy retirement! The scar on his nose is probably from a headcollar that became too small in his early years. Andrea

Here is Druimghigha Luxor. I have had him since March this year and am besotted with him! I bought him for endurance but intend to explore other disciplines too. He is half crabbet, half polish, and an absolute gentleman Andrea |
