Ohh Cripes, its 4:30 Am on Sunday Morning where I am and I've Spent almost 5 hours re entering my Girls Data into my own Database on my Computer, My eyes are just about Crosseyed from the research.
I'm still Constantly Amazed at how far back I can go, and how many Generations there are on Her fathers Sire line she runs back to Ibrahim & Yasoulka, I'm Sure if I could go far enough back with enough certainty that the info was correct I reckon I could hit Arabians on her Dam line too, Probably like 50 Generations back but they'd be there |

Hi Kazhak.
You must be very dedicated to finding your girls blood lines to stay up that late. I'm quite new to all this, and I've just managed to get my boy registered. I think it very interesting finding out our horses family and when you see old photos you can sometimes really see a family trate coming though the generations.
Just goes to show how important it is to get your stock registered.

Hi Brynmarli, I love researching the Bloodlines I'm pretty sure when I go far enough back through my mares Hackney Ancestors I run into the Darley Arabian, and the Godolphin, okay okay I know nothing real special there many horses eventually run up against those 2 these days, I just like that we can go that far back..and that there are stories about such magnificent animals....I'm almost more interested in my horses family than I am mine own (lol)

Kazhak,
The irony is that most know more about their horses/dogs, et. al., pedigrees than they do their child's future husband/wife....Somehow or other it usually works out but it certainly makes one appreciate antecedents-in-law! |

Cate...Celestial Silver must be very sweet and very beautiful as she traces to Bright Shadow on the dam line and three times to Indian Magic (The entry of Bey Shadow needed to be corrected on the All Breed-which is now done. ) She is a Kuhailan Ajuz. Bred to Bhaltos...think you should have a very beautiful, elegant, show horse. Bhaltos is also Kuhailan but am not seeing a lot of horses like Nureddinn II that could make the bone too heavy. Think the baby will be very good! Can't wait to see pictures!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cate, she certainly has a fascinating pedigree and would enjoy seeing what she looks like...Can you post pictures?
Hi Egbert, Simply ages ago you asked if I could post pictures of Celestial Silver way back on page 21!!! Unfortunately, I am hopeless, but Bia put her as my signature, so hope this, albeit rather late, gives an idea of her..Celestial Silver (Aboud x Silver Yasmin) Cheers .Cate

not having joined this thread until about page 68 this is the first I'v seen of her pedigree, what a dream I checked out the pic in her pedigree just to get a closer look. Egbert is right a very facinating pedigree, all with such great blood so close up..

Cate,
Isn't it wonderful to see one that lives up to the pedigree! Fabulous! Thank you!
Tamila,
Wow! She looks like a power house! Can't tell from the photo whether she got her dad's head, but for 15 she looks terrific!
Thank you, too! |

Hi Angie, (Kazhak), Thanks for the nice comments there are some more pics of her on my website www.bhaltosarabians.co.uk which is pretty out of date. Just a fun thing, but the updating has not been finished and some more photos of her when she was younger to be added.
Hi Gari, I'm sure you remember her from a thread on another Forum. She lost two foals, one last year full term which had to be cut out of her. Now pretty sure it was because of my Hispano Arab mare bullying her....wont go into details.
So, after 8 years and having our Hispano since she was 3 and her being our best ridden mare, and most uncomplicated, I made the heartbreaking decision to sell her. Found her a super home where we can visit and she is spoiled rotten and has two geldings to make a fuss of her, which is better than being in a field on her own because I couldnt afford any more huge vets bills..... She cost me 4 rather large vets bills. She was just very much an alpha mare, so I now have two heartbroken daughters and the youngest, 16, crying into her mane before she left.
Celestial Silver fretted terribly after losing her foal last year and still is not back to her old self. Doesnt like being with the other mare, so let her run with my new stallion for one last chance to see if I can get something from her. New stallion is 31.21% Crabbet and straight Egyptian, so hoping and praying to get a foal. Dont care what sex as long as its ok and my mare also. |

Cate,
If Narishka can have a foal, have faith that Celestial Silver can too. Would also bet it will sensational as she is such a superb mare. |

Egbert,
Certainly encouraging, and I do know from what I have been told about her breeding by another breeder, and the quality of her first foal, and the colt foal she lost last year that her breeding lines are strong. |

Gari,
My new stallion, with me since the end of last September, is sE although 31.21% Crabbet as detailed in his Crabbet Certificate, and is called Ahanu (Emiratus B x Jiwan) http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ahanu2 bred by Sue Musgrove now Reynard. Shown as a yearling at Malvern 4th out of 15 under Dr Nasr Marei, and a couple of times as a 4 year old. Midland 5th out of 9 and that was with most of his mane missing and not in show condition, so I was told.
He is bay with a mass of mane and tail. His tail having white hairs through it and trails on the ground. Will try to post a photo. Good set on neck, good shoulder and length of hip. Lovely head and eye, good width of forehead and huge tear bones. Nice steady temperament. Lovely ground covering trot, and cant wait to get him backed and ridden.
Not being an expert on conformation I'm sure others will pick up other points.
If I were picky, feel perhaps a little long in the back, but nothing drastic, certainly not sausage like. Would also like him a little shorter in the cannon, or perhaps I should say longer in the forearm, but again depends how I look at him. Sometimes I look and think its ok, but since he now gets out all day he is starting to improve in the forearm which alters how the leg looks, so building up some muscle, and will improve more once I start working him. Late starting him as he's been unwell since he came, but is now much better. My mares have good length of forearm to cannon.
I just love him, my dream stallion, and think/hope he will compliment my mares.

Hi Egbert,
Would you telling me what you think of this little mare and who you would recomend breeding her to. (I have not seen her yet she belongs to a friend with no internet access) WR Aquila Carmargue / Alltair.
thanks

Cate,
Hope you can post that photo...Ahanu looks, by his pedigree to be quite lovely.
Blissy,
You can breed WR Aquila to just about anyone you want! She should be quite lovely, rather Kuhailan...as the dam's side of the pedigree is so loaded with the tail female tracing to Dajania, so she is a Kuhailan Dajania...This is a pedigree loaded with solidly reliable horses, well bred and as good as riding horses as in the showring as in bloodstock. Because she is Kuhailan, think I'd be on the lookout for a Seglawi stallion-anything carrying the following tail females: *Wadduda, Basilisk, Woloszka, Milordka, Bint Helwa, or Zulima. Would love to see a picture of Aquila. She must be very lovely...Does she have a kind of pearl-like graying of the coat? Sort of glows in the sun? Big eye? short back? Over all oozing quality but the kind one would associate with the more old fashioned Arabians?
Hi Beck! Is Midnight Shalimar a black? I think your boy would bring out the best in her....She has some wonderful old blood there and there isn't anything in the pedigree that should be anything but beautiful and/or athletic! Good luck! Shalimar is a Kuhailan Rodania so if all things are maxed to the best-great care, lots of exercise, vitamins, attention-the baby should be a stunner!

Hi Gari,
I promised you a picture many, many pages ago. This is our adorable new filly, "Peggy" by Taj el Nil out of Tahir bint Melika. Melika is a daughter of Zeyn, my lovely stallion who prematurely died in 2006, and the only daughter I have by this lovely stallion.
Not sure if you remember our conversation on this thread, but I thought you might like to see his filly anyway.
