What a beautiful Arab!! It's great to know that people can become friends over long distances like this. I'm surprised you didn't sneak Antham home Bob!

Thank you all so much! Rumour is wonderful and so royally bred too! He has the hugely successful Nazeer sire line down through the US National Champion Ali Jamaal through, his son Multi champion sire, Soho Carol's son WV Maximus Jamaal...and Rumour is out of the beautiful Burgundy Lace who is sired by a son of the motion defining JA Magnificat, Burgundy Parke, who is doubled in the pedigree as he is Maximus Jamaal's grandsire. On the tail female line, Lace goes back to Rodania via Rifala, dam of *Raffles and numerous champions, thus a Kuhailan Rodania!....This is one of those times that is so interesting because Rumour fully defines his pedigree and takes it a scosh farther along...By the pedigree, not only is Rumour stunning to look at but the youngster should redefine superb motion!
Bob, if you see this, could you tell us a bit more about Burgundy Parke...? Show his picture? I can't get it to come up in All Breed. Thank you, too, for joining us! |

Sasha,
Thank you so much! But darn! Wish I could play the video! Nevermind. The thing I see is a very beautiful stallion when he is in motion and in the trotting photo he exhibits masses of style. There is a trotting shot of him coming down a road that should be posted as well. Again thank you both so much for posting these! |

Hi Egbert
I don't have the trotting on the road shot of him on my laptop, I will have to get Roseanne to send it to me so I can put it on! It's a shame you can't see the video of him and Roseanne running round the school together! |

Hi Egbert This is a fantastic thread, I have been meaning to ask you for some time if you could tell me what you think of my mares pedigree. She is 18 years old, I have had her 14 years and done lower distance endurance . http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bint+rajina
many thanks

Sorry to say that I can't locate a picture of Burgundy Parke (know we have a few but the question remains "where"!) If you could see one you would see a very well proportioned boy with excellant structure and conformation. One of Burgundys most notable characteristics is his exceptional shoulder and long, shapely neck with a very clean throatlach... his poll/hinge remains one of best I have ever seen myself. Burgundy also has a look to him that personifies who he is with a nice short head and very good width between his large, well defined eyes. Burgundy was Region 17 Champion Yearling Colt as a youngster.
As Gari touched on, being by JA Magnificat, Burgundy is an extremely athletic boy as well. Unfortunately, a stifle injury prevented him from reaching his full potential as a performance horse. He did win a Res. Championship in English Pleasure Jr. Horse before his injury.
Here is a headshot of one of Burgundy's daughters that probably most closely resembles him in my opinion.
More later.....

Hi Linda,
She must be absolutely wonderful if she is only half true to her pedigree! Sire line to Mesaoud via the incredibly influential, correct and beautiful Silvadoris. Dam line is to the wondrous Bint Helwa and the dam herself by the son of one of the greatest stallions I've ever seen, Hanif! (Also defined charisma! He NEVER failed to electrify a crowd!)Her graddam Gayaney was by Count Roland, son of Count Dorsaz...so you know Bint Rajina has to define motion...And she has-this is the icing-one up close line to Bright Shadow...so her temperament must be out of this world! By pedigree, she has so much beauty, so much charisma, so much athletic ability, so much kindness of soul...I just hope that in 14 odd years you have had at least one foal out of her! Bet she is your best pal, too! Sadly she is not 18 but 20 if All Breeds is correct.

Hi Jane,
Many thanks for the kind words! Hope I can help:
Wowee ...The Rusleem x Siraj Bint Deepak is awesome-This should be a major show horse...Ultra beautiful, refined and loaded with motion and thanks to Crysilla, a line fairly close to Bright Shadow! Take good care of Deepak, plenty of exercise, good food, vitamins and tlc...and you will have a major show and riding horse! Awesome cross.
I am a tad more cautious with the Charismma x Chiya...It will definitely be a beautiful, Skowronek sire line foal with dam line to what I must assume is a Kuhailan...That is the problem with the Dyra dam line...there isn't a lot of it. However it has been enormously but limitedly successful in the US, the mares of this line are robust, lovely and seem very Kuhailan. Charismma will refine and add more beauty. The icing here is that Ansata Ibn Halima is found on both sides of the pedigree and the result should be gorgeous. Think you would have a beautiful foal potentially spectacularr from this but not quite as certain as the Rusleem cross as the dam line is very certain there.
Think both should be wonderful crosses and really look forward to seeing photos of the babies! |

Hi Bob,
Thank you so much for sharing the Burgundy's daughter's photo. WOWEE! What a stunner she must be in the flesh. Burgundy Parke...hopefully you will one day find some photos for he must have been fabulous.
Sasha!
Thank you so much for posting that last photo of Zakhahn...It just captures what his pedigree promises!
Beryl,
You and I are in the same boat. Miss so much with dialup...Well one day...hopefully will have high speed and a new computer!

Thankyou so much Gari !
It must me amazing to have so much knowledge of bloodlines, all stored in your head. You ought to auction yourself for the day - some lucky person could learn more in that day than for the rest of their lives!Bet their would be plenty of bidders too
I am very excited about the Rusleem match - and you are right about movement - Siraj is a very powerful yet elegant mover. As for Chiya, she is a beautiful mare with an exquisite head, and I am hoping for something very special with Charismma. I've spent so long tring to find a good match for her, and none of the stallions have felt quite right, I would be interested to know what type you do think would compliment her....I'm irresistably drawn towards El Shaklan, Sanadik El Shaklan for some reason.....?
Many, many thanks |

Ha Ha thankyou Linda
Siraj looks as if she has huge ears in that pic - she doesn't really ! And pic of Chiya doesn't do her head justice at all - need more practice on the photography front I think |
