Just about to e-mail you Mike,
Don't have that book , I know were the photo was taken Tahanoub but I need a little clarifacation on this quote: No it isn't Om El Saad either, but she was SE, was born the year after and in the same place as the three original Ansata imports. Same sire too!
SAME SIRE TOO! Same as the three imports or Om El Saad?
Please don't tell us yet

Well Done Bob!!!
She popped into my head, following on from the earlier horses in this thread since she had a foal (Bint Foze) by Salon and the Klines (also mentioned earlier) imported Fawzan a son of hers. Incidently she was the only Nazeer daughter ever to be bred to a non-SE stallion. The very successfull South African grandson being Sidi Ibn Bint Foze by The Maestro. Foze was quite a tall mare, noted for her presence and flamboyant movement.

Maybe I'm going a little goofy here but I replied to this topic today at 1:33:45pm with the answer copied below. It's apparently the correct answer but I gather judging by the subsequent replies that no one else has seen it? Little mystified as it appears on my screen okay....maybe someone can explain why it wasn't acknowledged?
Right, time for a break from the housework to have a go at answering this....
The mare in the head study is NAZEERAH (Kaisoon x Nadia). NADIA was exported from Egypt to Germany by Carl H Domken (of Ghazal fame) and she was by Amlam (Emam) x FOZE). The mare in your original photo is FOZE (Nazeer x Fathia) f.1959 and later exported to Europe (date?)
Hope this is right, if not its time for me to sit in the corner with a dunces hat!
Yours a little puzzled

No wonder I couldn't find her - Bint Foze is not listed on allbreedpedigree.com which is my primary source of information. I had found Foze of course but since I couldn't see any offspring by either Salon, Nil or Marsianin, I didn't think it was her.
Oh well, at least it wasn't my research that was lacking - it was the sources
I wouldn't mind if the next one was a tad less difficult

Thanks for your reply. Glad I don't have to sit in a corner after all! I thought it was Foze when I first saw the photo and the pic of Nazeerah just confirmed it.
Wish I could get the hang of this scanning to website lark sorted as I could upload some piccies to set everyone scratching their heads again!

Caroline I had a post at the bottom of page two, now it's on this page as well, now just to prove what a gentleman I am, we will score the last picture of Foze to you. If you also register with Skype then we can talk for nothing and I will talk you through how to get pics here, my handle is the same as here.
Ok try this one.
First clue; A little nearer home.
Good luck |

Jane, It's not Indian Magic but this horse is a grandson of of Indian Magic, he was born at Crabbet park in 1954, lived for a time in Scotland and has this son who is good under saddle.

Hi Bob
Thanks for your kind message and offer of help with pics but will have to admit to being ignorant about 'Skype' - what is it?
As to the latest photo (the grey) my answer would be SILVADORIS f. 1954 (Oran x Silver Magic by Indian Magic s Silver Fire) Bred by Lady Wentworth at Crabbet Park.
Best wishes

Hi Caroline,
Well done, it is indeed Silvadoris
He was in the last foal crop Lady Wentworth bred before her death, he was inherited by Cecil Covey and on the dispersal of Crabbet Park found a new home in Scotland with Mr and Mrs Love, he was subsequently bought by a dear friend of mine Des Williamson a farmer from Selby in Yorkshire. Des treated me as family and that included Silvadoris, to me he was a friend and a teacher. I can’t tell you how much I think about him and when I found this picture I just had to put it up.
If you e-mail me I will fill you in on Skype
Anne mail me and i wil try and help
Regards Bob

Hello Bob
Glad Silvadoris was the right answer. Will be in touch about Skype though I gather from Lynda's message that it must be a programme you can download off the net? Will have a look later on to see if it is.
Best wishes
