I'm so sad to hear this, i have honestly thought of Karen every day since her last post and really hoped she would pull through. The painting and photos are beautiful. Thinking of her family at this sad time, Michelle xxx |

Very sad news. I was only wondering on Monday how she was doing. I also never met Karen, but found her postings very sincere and inspiring.
My love to Warwick and Karens family. Kate xxx |

How can I feel so upset about someone I didn't know? The tears are falling and I can't make them stop.
I remember Chinook's last post and was bowled over by her positivity and hoped that she would make it, so when I spotted this post my heart sank and my fears were right.
I echo everyone else that she was an inspiration, always positive and helpful and my thoughts go to her husband and her family. She will never be forgotten. |

Warwick rang me last night.
Karens Funeral is next Thursday, at Inverness Crematorium at 2.30pm
It is family flowers only, and donations to Redwings and one of the Cancer charities. Warawick is going to let me know of the exact wording for the cheques over the weekend.
I will be at the AGM if anyone wants to pass anything over.

I feel the same - Karen's posts touched me tremendously - her positivity, obvious love of her horses and family and friends - there aren't words, except to send my deepest condolences and best wishes and thoughts to Karen's family and Warwick and all those who knew her.

With much sadness and condolences.
Somehow this quote seemed appropriate:-
"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to the understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same."

Condolences to Karen's family and friends. I didn't know her but it seems she left this world at far too young an age.
May she rest in peace and be reunited with her loved ones in greener pastures.
