Hmmmm.....
How many times have I gone over this one...
Well presuming it was a big win I would buy a farm, do all the necessary work building etc. to create a 5 star home for my gg's, buy a really smart lorry and begin collecting horses and various other animals!!

The first thing I'd do would be to take care of my family and make sure they are setup for the rest of their lives..after that not sure..would just be nice to have no debt and be able to do the things you want to do..don't know if I'd change my collection of horses would just be nice to be able to afford to cover my mares with the stallions I want to use without having to think about the cost. |

Since I've never bought a ticket its very unlikly! But I've always said if I came into a lot of money I'd give it to the ILPH - we live happily & want for nothing as we are! Also as we have no children & all our rellies are well off - we are going to leave all to the ILPH - farm the works!!! As long as they will look after my neddies |

I'd build the BIGGEST Crabbet stud .With loads of facilities. I'd have loads of space so they could live as a herd .Would have to be by a river cos OH wants a boat Or i'd have the stud and an appartment in Monarco ...he could have his boat there and I could visit on my Harley I would also be self sufficient and grow my own food and rear my own animals . I would have loads of staff to do to work that i didn't want to do ie, weeding and ironing My family and friends would all have their own homes on my huge estate . I would have a ranch style house with a huge room with a bar for parties. You could all come and stay, it would be bring a bottle and a horse .....OH DREAM ON!! Actually it would be nice that OH would never have to work again and my boys would be made for life and never have to worry about money. But the richest person is the one with their health. |

A huge estate in the country, with a vast rambling house and outbuildings and masses of acres. And a river running through it. And woods. And then would come the rescue ponies and horses, the sad unwanted ones from the terrible markets in this country. With the lovely staff to look after them. And then would come the families from the inner cities, the ones who suffer from domestic violence and abuse, who could stay for a month or so to recuperate and show their children there is more to life than poverty and violence. There would be councillors, and nature and freedom and sunlight, and the chance for families to discover, through horses, compassion and love for other creatures and themselves.
Well you DID ask...it's after midnight and I'm drinking Port, and I expect it sounds like like a mad hippy dream and I'll probably look at this tomorrow and cringe!!!!! |

If I won the lottery I would of course make sure my family are sorted and then buy/build my dream home. With plenty of room for more horses so I could carry on breeding without having to plan where the money is coming from! Well I'll keep dreaming and thanks Leigh-Ann for reminding me to put my ticket on!!! |

The first thing I would do would be to buy the colt I spotted for sale last night, he is stunning - www.bhavenarabians.com/Psovereign.html And as I was waiting for him to arrive I would be buying my dream house, with at least 25 stables and around 100 acres, with woodland to ride through! I dont want a river though, they have a habit of overflowing!!Carol - I think I would take in a few waifs and strays (horses that is!). I cant think of anything more rewarding than saving a horses life and giving it a safe and happy future.
As this is very unlikely to happen, I am hoping someone from Britain will buy this colt so I can go see him the flesh and hopefully use him on one of my mares one day!!!

Ohhh I love this one!! After the family/friends/charity bit I would love to hire an island for a massive party then buy a lovely rambling old farmhouse (wisteria round the door, rose garden...) on a 500 acre farm (with someone running it and doing all the slog except a bit of pruning!!!) a big barn for my horses, which I will have collected including Charismma (sorry Lyndi!) my own wonderful Amira, some Spanish Arabs and some Arab/Andulucian crosses, and a few more really (!) so they can come and go as they please, live as naturally as possible and then have a wonderful team to help me so I can treat the OH to some holidays. Oh and a ranch in Spain where I can herd cattle. And sheep. And chicken and ducks... I have to stop playing now or will take all night. The best thing would just be to not worry about bills and debt, and treat those I love to the life they deserve, both horse and human |

The first thing I would do would be to invest in a wagonload of shavings..... I'm fed up to the back teeth with big bale straw! Then take care of the family, followed by an indoor school, some more stables, and a nice shiny new wagon. :[)]
Dream On!!!

Funny, my OH and his sister had a "Pools fantasy" (generational thing!) when they were kids that they'd buy a donkey - we've just bought a donkey so we reckon we've won the Pools!! Though I think I've just won more Poo(ls). |

I didnt win either, oh well theres always next week. Im not holding out much hope though. I have never won anything in my life. The best quote I ever heard (and it REALLY applies to my life!) is - When my boat comes in, I will be waiting at the trainstation!!!
Maryann - I would love to go into partnership with you on this one, he is stunning isnt he!! Now how do I raise 10 grand? (Legally!!).... Any ideas gratefully received!!

Funny how we all want the same things
But realisticly i'm not greedy a couple of 100k would do me just to pay off the mortgage have a nice home for the family and the horses, i think that way you wouldn't go daft and let it ruin your life. As they say money can't buy love but it certianly helps buy the nice things in life.
Oh yes i always used to say to the other half i would buy a nice Oakley Supreme drive it to the middle east and fill it up with beautiful Arabians so as long as i win enough for that. He He.... |

My friend's motto's a good one "Money can't buy you happiness....but it sure helps!"
I'd make sure my family were comfortably off and everyon was debt free (me included!) - then buy a box with a nice living and big stalls so I could show my beauties this year |
