Just got back to work after a trip to the dentist
I had to have a crown stuck back on due to an unfortunate incident on Wednesday with some thorntons special toffee (much to the amusement of my work collegues!)
Also I had to have a filling at the back on the other side to the crown.
Here is wher my problems begin! The whole right side of my face, tongue, throat and ear are numb, I work on a helpdesk ie I need to SPEAK for my job but every time I try to do this I dribble!!
Also I didnt have any brekkie to keep my teeth nice and clean for the dentist and now due to the current mouth sitch I dont think I can manage to eat any dinner and I am STARVING!!!
I know no one can help but I just though I would share my woes!

Houch!
Try a liquid diet. Mars drink or slim fast or better a good soup!

I managed my cheese spread sandwiches by squishing it between my tongue and the roof of my mouth! yoghurt went down ok though.
Feeling is starting to come back now so my tea should be ok! |

Like you Jayne, I too am terrified of the dentist, I would rather give birth. I have a check-up due next month and know that I need some work done. When I have finished in the dentists chair I always feel exhausted and in a state of shock, I get myself so worked up. Nicky |

This makes me laugh.... I need vallum tablets the day before I go to the dentist Then I need gas... and I won't even open my mouth until I am totally out of it! (it's great!! ) Before gas I used to have a general anasthetic...FOR A SMALL FILLING Thank god I have good teeth. I have only ever had four fillings A wisdom tooth removed and half a back tooth from a play fight My dentist laughs at me when I shake while I'm having a check up. He gave me a mouth wash called Endikay, he said if I use it everyday I will never need another filling. Now he has stopped doing the gas so I will never have more than a check up anyway!! |
