If any of you have let your horses/pets vaccinations lapse, or have one that you are about to start on a course, then June is National Vaccination Month and participating vets are giving the second dose of a primary vaccination course free of charge, plus a free wormer. Any visit charges will of course still apply.
Just a word of caution regarding this 'amnesty'. Please, before vaccinating your beloved pets do look at the website of Canine Health Concern where they have a lot of scientific information regarding vaccinations and worming of all animals. There's also lots of information on YouTube now.
Please, please do a worm count before giving any wormer. I know it's catch twenty two regarding vaccinations, but a bit of knowledge helps us understand what we're doing.
