Hi I've just put a wanted ad on so hope this is ok, if not feel free to delete Admin.
The young girl who bought my New Forest from me after loaning her has now outgrown her and wants an arab. Sensible child She hacked Tara out when I had her whilst Jo was away and got on very well and I also let her ride Shida in the school. Shida wasn't quite so child friendly and I wouldn't have let many children ride her although wouldn't have trusted them out on a hack.
Anyway really looking for something she can have fun on do some showing, pony club and be safe out hacking. She really wants a purebred but would consider a part bred as long as it looks araby!
If anyone knows anything that might be suitable and within reasonable distance from Junction 17 of M25 let me know.
Something like Taragun would be perfect but don't suppose there are many more of those out there!

Good luck - you're going to need buckets of it, good arabs down here are as rare to find as hen's teeth |

I know I have warned her it might take some time! I'm sure they would travel though but maybe not as far as Scotland for instance! |

Good luck! I hope she finds the perfect arab! Sometimes you do need to travel to find the right one though.....I found Lomond in Plymouth....Silver in London...Khebir in Kent... etc etc and I live in Scotland |

There are a few nice ridden ones advertised on here How about Chlione in the mare section? She has been ridden and handled by children. I also rather like the gelding that Louise Maryon has on here and he sounds pretty uncomplicated. |

Templars I played her the video I took of Evie at Malvern and I think that certainly inspired her.
Yes there are a couple on here to investigate so hopefully we'll find her something but it doesn't seem easy, there are a lot of people who seem to have been looking for a long time. I must say i'm so glad I found Ishara otherwise i'm sure i'd still be looking! Marion if there are any you've seen that you can warn me off i'd be grateful for a PM. Thanks Jo |

Sensible girl, wanting an Arab. Wishing her the best of luck in finding a nice new friend. Are you going to get someone else to loan Rioja or just ride her yourself again Jo? |

She belongs to them now so think they will sell her. Unfortunately I can't afford to buy her back and I don't really need a 13h pony but she's such a super first or second pony I'm sure she'll find a good home. |

Well, I'm about to stop looking as I'm so fed up plus spending all the horse budget on petrol money looking for something so the budget is diminishing which doesn't help. I'm obviously not meant to have anything.
Spent all day cooking instead to my hubby's delight... Trouble is to me horseless means getting fat and lazy |

Don't give up, you will know the right horse when you see it, hopefully I will have some news soon, but you have to search the sites 2/3 times a day, morning noon and night, have found that one out as in all the time I have been looking, 2 that I liked but didn't get to see because I was looking at another horse where sold to the first people that saw them and that was within 2 days of the advert, but I was only looking under the arab sections I started thinking that nothing would come up so searched sites for 15/16 hh gelding on Tuesday, after three pages of not liking anything all of a sudden a chestnut came up, thought he's nice, read the description, it was an arab they had advertised under allrounders, but he had only gone on Tuesday morning |

I know exactly what you mean about searching the sites every day! I've lost several because of being too slow off the mark and I'm certainly learning my lessons...
There's a message to all sellers here - a good arab within a certain age bracket presented well sell within a week - that's the truth at the moment. That's not bad in this market, is it |
