Well Done  Huge congratulations...Super Rider and Horse, a real team, showing the "antis" that Arabs really can "do it" as good as the rest. Versatility and beauty, all rolled into one

Such a great success for both young rider and outstanding horse - we should ALL be making a huge fuss about this and telling anyone anti-Arabian just what Arabians can do!
Couldn't resist finally getting round to look at Gwiddy's pedigree - a real traditional Polish/CMK mix set of bloodlines. So many of our own Crabbet/Old English/Polish Arabians do well in performance of all kinds that is hardly surprising I suppose that the American equivalent can produce just as well. Gwiddy himself is about 35-40% Crabbet (as a guestimate) but he's 56% CMK (the American equivalent to our Crabbet/Old English) with the balance being fabulous Old Polish lines to Negatiw (Crabbet sire Naseem) and Grojec's sire Comet. Closely bred too - I am assuming his babies are popping out very consistently.
Congratulations to all concerned anyway on a great horse and rider team. His breeder deserves some credit too methinks - Ruth Austen or Sheldon W Koehler according to Datasource. |

| WOW WOW WOW VERY VERY WELL DONE....!!! Darling Mr Gwiddy really is a super star and not forgetting Robyn too....Gwid carried me to alot of fantastic wins and championships, he was sports horse champion in America as well as his dressage, and now performing dressage at a high level with young talented Robyn on board, what an amazing advocate for the Arab Horse....Way to go Gwiddy...!!!! Huge Congrats must go to Dave, Jean and of course Robyn, what an achievement...Loads of love from All at Legacy...!!!xxx |

Hi Fiona , and ''Thank You'' to everyone for all your lovely, supportive comments!!Robyn will post her own, but, is waiting for password confirmation!!When I had time to look through the catalogue...it brought home to me what we were actually up against, the competition was amazing!! Everyone knows how much we cherish and love Mr Gwiddy....he doesnt owe us anything, and Robyn is a lovely young lady with fantastic talent and also a very modest and kind disposition too....we will support them both, and hopefully fly the ''Arabian'' flag proudly, at any future all breed competition!! PS Alexia....Thanks for the breeding insight!You know we never lost faith with the old breeding that we love so much....wish he was 50%, then we could show progeny in the Crabbet classes!! |

Hey this is Robyn Im on Jean's account atm cause im under 18 so i can't have an account  ... thankyou soo much for the support and loverly comments . I'm having an amazing time riding Gwiddy and as the first Arabian I've ridden he has definately converted me .. Im looking forward to having a go at some ridden showing this year too..
Its been super to have such a huge amount of support from everybody...thankyou!!
