Apart from the usual worry about bills and more bills my flaming Larry the Freelander decided to break down yesterday when my hubby was picking up a part from the Landrover Garage. Quite ironic really it was as if he'd got there and thought hmpph im not moving until they fix me and burst his cam belt Tim had only gone to pick up a steering fluid cap parked up and came out to find Larry was on strike. So £190 to put on a new timing belt and fingers crossed its not damaged the pistons
So today for the first time in a long time ive got friends coming over with their children for a nice day, lunch and park. Was just about to start making some fairy cakes when i thought id best bring the bins in and no keys
Id taken my keys off the car and Tim has taken them but id left the spare set in my mums car and now mum and Tim won't be home until 6.30pm as she's taken him to work.
So had to call friends and cancel as have no way of letting them in as the gate key is on the car keys and the gate is about 7ft tall so no way they can climb in.
Didn't realise it was april fools!! Thanks for that ive just rung Tim and said Pinch Punch 1st of the Month!! We have had a competition going since we met and im now on my 3rd month of getting him this year!!
I've done the same but locked out twice in the last month!!I've picked up gloves,phone,lighter and walzed out the door,slamming it really hard as it's a bit sticky and then realized my car keys and house keys are on the hall table!! AAAGH,the first time the OH was only just up the road so he turned back and let me in.The second time I had to ring Mum to pick me upluckily she only 2 miles away!! Otherwise I'd have sat on the lawn all day!!
