No foals due this year at all! But we plan to breed some to keep for next year
Roundhills Silver Beauty is to be bred to Roundhills Crystal King for a cremello foal
Spring Kantata is to be bred to Roundhills Crystal King for a palomino foal
Antigua El Jamaal is to be bred to WH Justice for a pure bred arab foal
Not quite sure about my Nabucco daughter yet! either Nadir I or Roundhills Crystal King,
Lx

Angel is 15.2 and the crabbet stallion is 14.1. Angels parents were both small and she is a maiden mare so I have had all the garb about smaller first foals.
I am about the same height as you, maybe a bit taller and Angel is fine at 15.2 but I dont want any smaller. I am looking for more of an allrounder as in dressage and jumping so am trying to inject a bit of height! |

Sammie, where are you as king is not far from me. There is an anglo half sister to Kings Composer (by a Crabbet line stallion) on horse deals. a grey mare about 15.2 i think, so you could have a look and see what sort you might get! |

Hi Jamana
Im in Nanpean, just outside St Austell. Found King by accident looking on net at studs and came up with him. Had a look at that mare on horse deals, nice looking horse. Im hoping I get the same in that is more arab looking that TB and I keep the size. To be honest, this is the first I have put in foal so really its more trial and error for me! |

I'm so thrilled with my lovely filly just born 2 1/2 weeks ago that I am going to repeat the same breeding with my mare Morticia (Phoenix Kalibur/Moanah) and the stallion AH Kuda. I went to see my filly again tonight (she is still at Legacy Stud) and she is so gorgeous that I am completely captivated and cant believe how lucky I am to such a beautiful girl for my foal. |

Emma, I'm afraid my Mum wasn't able to pursue her dreams of breeding very long. Life had a way of intervening... as it does! It was a long time ago, but I remember her being very feminine and lovely. She was bought alongside an Anglo called Ramona and a Harwood colt called Malek al Sahara (spelling probably incorrect). He was a fabulous bay boy with a wonderful temrament. I do have a very lovely Crabbet stallion here called Zakhahn (Zourrak x Imperial Zaree) who is a tremendous chap with fantastic conformation, great movement and a fabulous temprament. But I don't breed myself - mine are all boys who I ride!
Sammie 85, if your mare is 15.2hh I'd say you stand a very good chance of a riding horse of 15.1hh, especially if it's a boy that you have gelded. Geldings often reach greater height than mares/stallions at maturity, and I think offspring tend to slightly favour the dam's characteristics (personal view from observation!).
Nikki, I do envy you. Though I don't breed (see above...) I can see how captivating it would be to have a very special mare and to be part of her breeding and producing a wonderful foal for you. |

I've no foals due this year. I have given who/what I am breeding some thought but nothing is final. Iisis Kallice will go back to my stallion Ali Abbas as the filly she produced to him last year is stunning. Kallima, who is Kallice's dam, will also go to Ali Abbas. Karramia will go to Ali Abbas Pokrovka (if she is not sold) I am considering MF Aryan Al Thessa for her if I get round to sorting it out as it's frozen semen. This mare has stunning foals for me so it is a case of narrowing down the choice of stallion as she is so useful! Stival and Memphis 27 are in the mix for her as well but I don't really need to be making my life difficult chosing stallions that aren't simple to use! |

Hi Michelle, I tried a few months ago to purchase a breeding to Stival, I spoke to Mike Wilson and Johanna and I was told for this year he is not avaliable to Europe apart from the few select mares that have been chosen with Johanna at the European training centre , but to contact again sometime in the future - how far in the future it wasn't clear lol! Also, Memphis 27 is not avalible to outside mares this year - we must have a similar taste in stallions as I have been very interested in these two quite recently also |

Hi Amy.... yeah I know about these two, that's why I put in my post about them being difficult to use. I love Memphis I think he would work really well with my mare but last time I had this idea the 8000 euro stud fee for an unproven stallion kind of put me off! Shame. Stival.... hmmm well I know they weren't going to breed anything and now some.... and I think if your mare is good enough and you have the pestering power you might get somewhere! Pretty colt.

Yes, fair enough I have ridden 15.1 before, however personal view is that I want a nice sizeable horse to compete on long term. Again, personal preference I guess. Some people don’t like too tall, some prefer tall.
On a good note, Angel had her swabs done today and actually behaved herself for the vet! The look of shock on her face was a picture though!
PS Amy, Psynergy is fantastic. good luck! |

Hi Justine! Thanks!
I take it you are hoping Imeleena has a filly this time eh? As nice as the lush colt she had last time! Aryes is stunning and such an exciting young horse! I would love to breed to him.
Looking forward to seeing your Wuotan foal... mine is so beautiful to look at, her face is so much like his, very pretty. She is a naughty thing though! |

Here's hoping Ffaria is as fertile as her mum !! After looking at the semen she had last year I'm not so sure if this isn't an immaculate conception !! |

We have a breeding to WH Justice for this year. The foal will be our first and it is for us to keep.
Becky, aren't you the lucky one!! My mum was the only person from the UK to get a breeding on the auction. She was just going to watch it but couldn't resist and was the second winning bidder.
