Hi Guys.
I was wondering if any one knew of the whereabouts of any Toskhara Bred horses? Do you own (not including Lizzie and Walter Downes) or know of anyone who owns a horse bred by Toskhara Arabians?
It would be so nice to see pictures or hear news on any of the foals/ youngsters I once worked with. A handful are the following:
TA Kheleen - aka Socks (TA Khetoskha Too x Algonkwin)
TA Khupid - aka Moon (TA Khetoskha x Algonkwin)
TA Pacific (Pima x Algonkwin)
TA Papillion - aka Peanut (Pima x Algonkwin)
Ellie (unsure of her registered name) Eubea x Kordelas.
It would be lovely to see how these guys, and any others, have grown up and what they are up to now.
Thanks Kim

you could try EGB website, to see if any are registered endurance horses. might help you with tracking them down. |

Hi Milotkha His reg name is Selasphorus ( Algonkwin x Sakuntala ) and he was bred by Finn Guiness at the Biddesden Stud. He is dark bay and very handsome just like his dad.Does quite a lot of endurance but can turn a hoof to a bit of dressage - really should be doing some ridden classes - a plan for this year.
I can only find Toskhara Marionette on the egb archives.A few years ago I heard that Ellie Head in Norfolk had an Algonkwin boy called Socks but I can't remember his reg name.

Hi Rachel..
Do you have any pictures of Selasphorus I can see please? He sounds gorgeous. Socks is TA Kheleen.. a very stunning bay with 4 stockings and a strip.. he was one of my favourites.. I'd love to know how he is doing. I have a filly out of TA Minuette. TA Marionette rings a bell - I dont think I worked with her though, she may have sold before I got there, but its lovely to they are doing well.

Anne Harris thank you for sharing that.
Ah yes I remember now. She was a stunning little filly - we gave her the bright pink foal headcollar because she was such a typical girl :o) and if im right she is the first Kordelas foal - and is his a very succesful stallion now. I would love to see pictures of Elle.... maybe ask your friend if she wouldnt mind sharing one or two?
Thanks Kim |

The last time I spoke to the Whincups, they were keeping TA Caalicja, but I have no up-to-date information.
We have TA Caapria, amongst other TA horses, as Milotkha well knows. We have 3 Algonkwin daughters, TA Mirabelle and her full sister, TA Minuette (VA Milotkha's(by TA Etikett)dam) and TA Caapria...the Reeds lost their one remaining Ali daughter not that long ago.
TA Ellesse beat our VA Mia Valentina into 2nd place at the Northern Group Show, when they were both yearlings. It was fun having half-siblings competing against one another. Please send Vicky my best wishes.

Correction... VA Milotkha is by Pilot and not TA Etikett. Liz's stallion VA Mystykh is out of TA Minuette and by TA Etikett :o)
Sorry Kim...bred VA Milotkha myself!!! Mental breakdown at some 'stupid o'clock' time in the morning....yawn! |

The Reeds have good horses because they stuck to the principle of great mare lines from way back. I have been there several times just to drool Dick's eye and Christine's intuition made a great combination Angel has a good one from them We lost a positive force in the circuit when they left |
