Actually that should be who "could" be the daddy!
I'm on the hunt for a chestnut stallion to cover my cremello half arabian mare with.

Last year she foaled a beautiful buckskin (64%) arabian filly by my coloured (bay tobiano) stallion. I have since had Rode To Victory tested as homozygous black so no palomino foals from this pairing!!!
If i see a stallion that fits the bill then i would be interested in covering her with a purebred for a pally foal but if i dont then she will pair off with RTV again as i'm really pleased with last years filly. She is tall, refined and has the most AMAZING movement!

Angel is palomino bred with excellent colour both sides and the filly although musky in her foal coat is now showing a lovely golden hue on her winter fluff so i think she will be a pretty stunning filly when her coat comes through.
SO - WHO COULD BE THE DADDY??
Answers on a postcard please!

Yes Kate knows i am on the hunt - we spoke about it last year when i was thinking of using Tobago on one of my purebreds!! i mentioned then he may see my blonde bombshell in the future! LOL
I'm just sure there are loads of stallions out there that i dont know about, obviously Montoya is the perfect choice with his blonde locks ;-), Tobago is lovely. Kistibelle - didn't you purchase Master Blaster? I saw him at the Jones' open day and thought Mmmmmm, you would be a good husband for angel one day! |

Hi
Beautiful mare and foal, Tobago fan myself but there are loads of nice chestnuts out there.
If you dont want an Arab stallion i know a truely beautiful warmblood, very very flashy with stunning movement, big lad though, from memory he was about 16.2hh
I also have a friend that has a lovely stallion that is liver chestnut, Arab, called Champiaan, PM me if you want the contact details, he is on all breeds pedigree if you want to see his pedigree.

Big fan of Mareschal as one of my old birds is by him.
Would prefer a purebred but open to all suggestions! LOL
The mare is just 15hh so nothing too big or heavy - anglo, tb - have even contemplated using my beautiful welsh a stallion on her! But would prefer to breed something a bit bigger! |

Cheers Kristibelle!! She is a pretty girl. :-)
I received a deposit on her in October, she was off to Dorset after xmas but not long before she was due to go they had to back out of the sale as the credit crunch had hit their business hard.
A real shame for them, so the Minkster is still with me!! LOL
All my lot are fine, RTV expecting a varied crop of pony foals this year which i cant wait for, mostly from RP / WPB mares. Only one NSH due, RTV & my grey mare Rabee. Ballerina is empty as is Angel this year hence the early planning
Thanks for all your replies - they're all going on the list! |

Hi's lovely pintoarabian BUT just say, just say that against all the odds, i do get a foal with a belly splash - any ideas on the palomino societies take on random white markings? LOL

She is lovely! My 2 cremellos are expecting foals by Montoya and Tobago this year so I'd have to recomend those - as I was impressed by both. I will let you know how the foals turn out (due April!) |
