Hi there The palomino society wont register anything with white anywhere other than legs and face so I think you need to steer clear of sabino markings on this mission.
Im going to be wild and suggest that if you want a big palomino that can really move and has a sound temperament you ought to try a saddlebred.
Cheryl Lutring who runs the ASAoGB has recently imported a chestnut purebred saddlebred Attaches Leading Admiral. I havent seen him in the flesh but his pictures look lovely.
I believe he is the only chestnut purebred in the country so your baby would be tall, golden and RARE. ....
.... and if you do that - and it turns out to be a filly - can I buy it ... PLEASE.
Good luck with whatever you choose - although I dont think you will need it. Angel is gorgeous - just like her daddy Fayrelands Dancing Magic (who also happened to be high % saddlebred).
Ah, i thought they'd be fussy about wacky white bits!!
Why is a saddlbrerd a WILD choice????? LOL
Her 2008 filly the buckskin one is part saddlebred and its a really nice match, thrilled with the filly just wish she was a pally!
Would love to use Fully Articulated on her but i think he's a bit big for her second foal which is why i'd like the keep to the purebred route if possible this time.
Have had some lovely PM's from people offering their stallions at stud so just wanted to say thank you to everyone. Topics like this are a good excuse for posting piccies and dreaming about future breedings - just what you need in the post christmas lull!!
BUT DONT STOP THERE - there must be more and i cant wait for the AL stallion pages
I'd have to agree with Loisrose, but then I am biased, Psadisho Ibn Esstashan is fantastic and producing the goods. My boys below out of a bay mare. Both always carry their tails and can really move.
I am nearly certain that my friends stallion that i mentioned earlier, Champiaan is by Psadisho Ibn Esstashan. He is very pretty, i will see if i can find you a pic of him.
