So glad to hear that Honey is on the mend. What a horrible thing to happen and what a clever girl waiting for someone to rescue her. All the best |

Poor Ginger Girl, I hope she makes a speedy recovery. Has she every thought of leading a less adventurous life? I seem to remember her last escapade was trashing her field. |

Vet came back tonight & we walked her out for the first time. Shes a little stiff on that leg, but at a glance you would never have thought she has been through was she has. Big bandage off & the vet was chuffed to bits to see the minor grazes were clean & dry & the swelling held off. A friend came to look & was amazed So we're box rest, lots of drugs (with a good dollop of treacle) & pressure bandages for a while. Good news is that shes allowed out for a stroll & a nibble twice a day. THANK GOD...shes getting back to the "Get outta my stable I'm cross" attitude we're used to. I'd love to give her all your hugs, but TBH I think she'd kill me...we don't do touching. I'm so very proud of her she's been through the mill & been such a brave clever girl. They obviously bred em good back then! Sorry to waffle but I'm just so pleased |

Delighted to hear that she is back to being Mrs GRUMPY & that shes on the road to recovery - bless her ginger bits Can you give her some Arnica - would hugely help with healing/bruising! (shock as well - take some yourself!)

LOL Alice I'm sure shed LOVE a verse or two All the stables in our barn have a back door into the storage area, so its not as easy as fitting a kickbolt. As a stop gap shes had all the doors wedged so theres no chance of a re-occurance Front doors have always had kick bolts |
