Hi Sally, Mirage is by Tarac who is by Rumak (World Champion) out of a Banat mare Tabashir. Tarac is 19 yo old now but in his day was a multi-champion at C show level, a joint class winner at the Paris Show, gold and silver medal winner at Towerlands and one of a handful of horses to win the Best 3yo Colt and Futurity prize at Malvern in the same year. His pure bred stock have excelled both in-hand and under saddle, with Chi Lin Tarquin a multi-champion and also a gold and class winner at Towerlands International. Mirage's dam is 22yo , was bred to race in Newmarket and is a true black Thoroughbred, standing 16.3hh. Nowadays both horses are known for their laid-back temperaments and delicious humour...Tarac is the boy who let a chicken roost behind his ears that i wrote about last winter! :)) Unfortunately i don't have constant access to the internet so please call me if you would like to know more. 0750 757 2242 Mirage' sister is a good 16.2 or more, but Mirage will probably settle around the 16hh mark. She is very pretty, but looks like an Anglo, not an Arab, with large dark eyes and a white star. She has an excellent shoulder with good depth of girth and a strong compact body. Obviously, she has superb limbs. We live in Honiton, which is about one hour from the M4/M5 interchange. Hope that helps!!
Cheers, suyen.
P.s. Lovely shot of Tarac, Lisa! |
