hi, One of my horses ive sold is booked in there with her foal on 19 sept 08. She is a coloured 7 yr old part bred arab with a coloured colt at foot which is massive, she is also in foal to the welsh cob stallion who came second in the royal welsh this year. Any ideas what price she will make as i want her back. I either want to buy her before she goes but the owner wants 2000 for them or buy them there. he is selling my mare and her foal separate so they will be weaned on the day i sold her in confidence that she will have a good home for life but he has split up with his partner so has to sell her.
What a pain! I have never been but don't think the price of horses is going to be very high as we are getting so close to winter. I would imagine that the majority of ponies going through Brecon would be Welshies. I hope you manage to buy her back.
Never been to Brecon, but havnt heard many good things about it to be honest. Cant see her making £2000, but then if the right buyer is there she may. As its a mainly welsh sale it may well be worth you posting on Saddlesoap, theres alot of people from down that way, & i know a fair few go to these sort of sales. Good luck.
