With the weather being so bad i stayed in this afternoon and made a slideshow of my beloved two year old Ruwi (i know, sad arent i) For those who dont know i bought Ruwi (Mistrals Blue Diamond) just a week after my Ghaleem was killed in a road accident to keep my other gelding Khalifa company. Ruwi really brightened up our lives at that really sad time and we all love him so much. I hope to do a slideshow of Ghaleem's photos one day but its still too raw now to even look at them. Hope you like it Michelle http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b140/00Michelle00/?action=view¤t=e24514e5.pbr

Michelle, he is lovely! He seems to have matured a lot since I saw him at Pencoed - he is even more handsome now than he was then! Are you taking him again this year?

I thought you'd blanked his face out. I couldn't understand why as we'd seen in him other potos. Very nice. If you fancy doing more I'm more than happy to watch. Bless. |

Linda, not 100% sure if i'm going yet but i really hope to. Its a really lovely show run by the Ridden Arab Group Wales. Have PM'd you about distance.
Dinkidoo, glad you like the music, it was under the Gospel section on Photobucket. Dont know what made me look in there. Ruwi's dad is Qamar El Dine and his dam is Silver sunlight which makes exactly 50% egyptian and 50% crabbet. Both horses are owned by Timbercroft.
Nutter, I am so sorry you lost your cherished horse, its just not fair is it? It does get better but its never ok. I have hours of videos of Ghaleem and i hope one day i can watch them and remember the great times we shared. But right now i just feel angry and empty

What lovely clips of a gorgeous, happy, relaxed 2 year old (and amazing settling you lucky thing!). he is turning into a stunning young horse. That last bit of him running with your partner(?) is what i do with my 2 year old, just running and seeing her stretch out beside me. Watching her develop and get stronger and more confident in her body and mind. It's brilliant! Ros |
