Thanks for all the lovely comments. I'm not feeling too good at the moment so your words mean such a lot to me right now.
I love this filly, we had important visitors yesterday, (Anne and her daughter!!) I think they liked her too. I have not been well enough to sit out with her and take some new photos yet. We will get there.
We are calling her 'Blondie' as a stable name but still have not decided on a proper name yet.
Thanks again.

Sally, I really miss his shouting, it is so quiet here, I hate it!!
Well, today I should be printing these tickets, looked out the window and decided to take a couple of pics of Blondie. Not especially correct, but special to me.
Blondie at 2 weeks old
You can click on the photos to enlarge, I have at last cleaned my foal slip! |

Funny how the colour changes on the coat when the sun goes in or comes out?
Thanks Lynda. |

What a finale for your mare producing exactly what you wanted.
I hope they are both well.
That is a great photo by the way. |

She really does have a gorgeous head Sue. I think Haleeka is going to have her mum and dads flaxen mane as white hairs at the root now coming through and definitely a lighter tail. Oh....and she is huge, can't stop her stuffing mums food! |

Debbie, I think your filly is a stunner, but then I am very biased obviously
I feel mine have nicked well with the El Shaklan lines as we thought they would. Both my foals are out of half sisters in blood, so very interesting.
Remember only you and I have the golden foalsall the others are bay or grey!! Chestnut being a recessive gene will only produce the gold look if you send Montoya a chesnut mare. Or, a mare that definately carries a red gene.
My filly will not be shown locally Debbie, if she is shown at all. |

Sue, I am persuading Luke to train her at the end of the winter and show her next year. She is going to be a big mover and he is thinking of going back to Australia for 3 months over the winter up date his handling at the top training yard he worked at a couple of years ago.
Hazira has the El Shaklan lines also and I am very pleased with the cross to Monty |
