I have yet again managed to sort out a friend's love life. My friend Tanya and I went out to a beach party last week and through me she met a guy. This guy works at the same place as the guy I was involved with last year (some of you may remember that DISASTER ) so I know him and his mates that he was with at the party and that's how they got chatting. I just met up with my friend this evening and she said they met up last Friday and have spent every evening together for the past week and she was off work last Friday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon aswell so they spent all that time together.
Last year I introduced another friend to my old roommate and six months later they were engaged and living together!'
I've also managed to get two friends together back in the UK before I came out here.
Unfortunately when it comes to my own love life it's still a disaster, at the moment totally non-existent, but still a disaster. I haven't had a relationship that's lasted longer than six months and I am 32 years old. I wonder if I will ever meet anyone that I'll have a serious relationship with...

Hi Evie,
It's a shame you don't live in the UK, Essex. My Brother-in-law has been looking for Mrs Right. He is 34 and wants to settle down but keeps on getting involved with ladies that have "issues"! He seems to attract the "fatal attraction" types.
I keep telling him to find a horsey woman, they are so much more down to earth and don't mind getting their nails broken....
Like others have said, it will happen when you least expect it, probably out food shopping and you both grab the same tomato in the fruit and Veg aisle |

I'd go for swimmers, when the kids were very competitive we used to go all over to galas, wished I was twenty years younger looking at some of the seniors, beaten for physical perfection maybe only by gymnasts.
The rambo and arnie muscles are a turn off, but at the end of the day good company is more importnat than looks. |

Evie chin up girl, think Geegee's brother-in-law could be just the ticket!!!! I don't suppose being on a small island helps either must be a shortage of single people, or are they all after only one thing Nicky |

Chin up Evie, an awful lot of frog kissing has to go on before you find your Prince, even then after a little while you realise they are not a Prince but something that lives under a stone (apologies to all our male members - who are very nice )
Yours bitterly etc... |

Hi Nicky you are completely right, I'd say 95% of the men on this island are only after one thing, and that includes the married ones and not necessarily with their wives!!!
Hi Offira, there are plenty of frogs on this island......actually frog is too nice....more like slugs!! |
