Hi Bex, we're huge fans of Imad here, he always imparts terrific quality, limbs and movement to his offspring. We are lucky to have 2 daughters and a colt by him, they all inherit his lovely temperament to. There's lots of photos on our website.
Sue love the photo of Golden Cavalier

Sorry been having internet problems... Mazey your Imad youngster (is he the dark grey?) looks amazing, would love to see more pics as well as some of Zelah. Glad to hear you liked Lothar el Nyhl, I wasn't really looking at that point (Sue and I had actually gone to look at Gai Radiant as a possible for her mare) but liked him and the pedigree worked for my mare so the rest is history, as they say! My boy is now 3, difficult to judge (as I'm biased of course) but I like him. He's prettier than his mum in the head, fantastic ears, better quality of skin & coat, probably better in the front leg but like her very 'square', wide across the front, good neck, excellent mover, nice sweet temperament. He is a bit more laid back than his mum which suits me as he'll be ridden. He doesn't look that big to me, but his mum is very substantial so it's difficult to say as she's the only horse I have here to assess him against. I'm hoping he'll make at least 15h. Most people seem to like him a lot. Khylie is now 18, I have a free return to Lothar but am reluctant to try again as his semen wasn't great last time - we had 3 goes the year before last which cost a bomb in vet fees and didn't get her in foal and last year she wasn't 100 percent so I didn't bother. I am tempted to try again now as she's very well, and I'd love another from the same breeding, but would also like to try a Crabbet/OE on my her such as Imad. My friend Sue and I also fell in love with the grey stallion owned by Geoffrey Plaister who did so well last year (?) at the Crabbet show in Somerset, but he's not at public stud unfortunately.
Razgold, your Elegant Gold looks fabulous, I think I was confusing him with Aurilla Gold who I saw at Towerlands, but of course I think he is a son of your stallion, and a very good advertisement for him too, what a smashing horse!
Lovely to see the pics of Golden Cavalier, Sue B, he sounds such a character. I have just come back from Devon where I was told all about your AV Montoya being quite the star, producing some fantastic babies...!
Cheers,
Renee |

Just wanted to say thank you for the lovely comments about my Golden Cavalier mare.(She is the one offered on a breeding loan here on A-L).
I have had lots of enquiries and its great to know that the bloodlines are sought after. She really enjoyed being a mum and I'm sure will love having some more babies. I've had her since she was a yearling so this will be quite a venture for both of us.
Thanks Sue for the Cavalier photos you posted. Khali looks very like him, especially her eyes. In fact her pedigree has both of his grand fathers (General Grant and Fari II) appearing on her dam's side too so I suppose its not surprising. Her tail line is through Silver Fire to Sobha making her a Hamanieh Simrieh strain. She's 100% GSB and 98% Crabbet.
Here's a few more piccies: One of her doing what she loves best - eating. Second: at a local show. We were reserve in hand champions, second only to a very handsome Fresian. (Horse I might add not cow!) Third: herself as foal and finally: a snap of her 3yr old filly by Aazari. Mira is 85% crabbet, Aazari's tail line also goes to Sobha so she is pure in the Hamdanieh Simrieh strain and fabulously lovely (even though I say so myself).

~Hi It's interesting reading about everybody's view on which lines work with what! I have a 5yr old stallion by Aazari out of a mare called HS Dresdon (Piechur x Gai Radiant Dream by Gai Radiant), I've covered Gold Fleur with him this year. I think listening to everyones views this could actually be quite an interesting cross! Thanks for all the info on Cavaliera much appreciated piecing things together slowly. |

I owned cavaliera previously and I am concerned that you say she has some problems, she is a lovely kind gentle little mare and an excellent mother and I cannot imagine what problems she has as she certainly never had any here with me,if I can help in any way please let me know, she is a special girl and it worries me to hear she may have issues ,her history isnt in anyway sketchy and if you want to know all about her let me know and I can email you some pictures of her and her lovely youngster ,Im sure you will love her as much as we did she is one of those rewarding mares who finds her way into your heart very quickly |

The Cavalier x Gai Radiant works brilliantly. Tina Cooke has done this very sucessfully with Ganemede on Cavialier mares. |

Although I know Sue's horses well, I'd never seen this pic of Khali as a foal - gorgeous! It's interesting to see her as a foal next to a pic of her daughter Mira, you can really see the likeness.
I was also talking with another friend today, Madeleine Sutherland (Arabian Emporium & Grange Farm Arabians) who has two Imad offspring, pics below. Firstly, a fantastic grey filly 'Sunlights Imadge' by Imad out of Autumn Sunlight who was Madeleine's foundation mare. After producing this lovely filly for Madeleine she has gone back to her original breeders, the Murrays of Foxbury Arabian Stud and has just produced another stunning filly by Imad for them. The second photo is of 'Silver King' who is by Imad out of Yemama Rose (I believe by Razgold's lovely stallion Elegant Gold discussed earlier on this thread). Enjoy! Renee

Hi Renee,
Just caught up with this post so thanks for posting piccies of my kids. So pleased with both of these guys, Imad is a fantastic producer, hopefully both of them will go on to do ridden and I would like to keep King entire. Autumn Sunlights filly foal is fab and has given Fiona Murray some of her mothers bloodlines back to continue the Foxbury lines.
