I doing well. I'm bored. Am here supervising Nathan the Gardner. He is lovely but he tends not to want to cut anything. He likes it to grow. No no no Nathan cut it down, chop it back. He weeds, He cuts the grass but when it comes to cutting the bushes he just doesn't cut the mustard - or the bushes - get it my attempt at a litte joke. Anyway he has now cut the front bush and and the side bushes. Hooray. He looked at me as said are you sure you want them done they will look awful. Yes Nathan I want them done I'd like to be able to see out of my windows on the ground floor please. Bless him. I think he may be finishing soon so I can go out to play.
Sorry you are having a pants day Kirsty. I'm sure Molly will be ok. Get her some nice high fibre cubes and soak them in warm water. She'll be up and running around in no time and hopefully back to eating her food properly. |

Got a new puppy last night so only had about 3 hours sleep, as her and Ralph (the staff) decided to play lets jump on each others heads whilst running up and down the stairs and who can do the most skids in the dining room and who can jump in the water bowl/bath/bed/toilet etc.... I was a bit bored so went to the dentists. Spent 40 minutes trying not to wince as he was drilling off the chipped veneer in preparation for the new one in a couple of weeks time. Oh I know how live.
Have got shedloads of paperwork to do but I really can't be arsed. It's Friday and I'm off to see my boys tomorrow in lovely Somerset. Memo to the weather Gods - I have been good this week, so a bit of sunshine (or just random lack of rain) would be appreciated so I can ride out without the wet weather gear. Thanks in advance.
Anyone got the International Arabian Race Day at Newbury marked in their diaries for the 20th July ? If not, why not !! |

OMG I just got caught skivving.... I went to the bank (work) decided to go to M&S for a sandwich. Walked into the barber shop without an appointment, had my hair cut. Just coming out of the barber shop and the Director of the Company was on the phone. Just getting into my car I said, do you need anything....... Hmmm the Accountant is here, your appointment was half an hour ago.... Oh F**k I say..... Will be there shortly. Luckily they both laughed.

no starving - not good nutter!!!
I can't believe this has just happened! I'm sat on the pc, dog starts barking, look out onto patio and there a scruffy bloke looking into my garden, leaning right over the fence, I go out and ask if they've lost their dogs ball (I back onto a field) he said no, I said can i help you then, he said no, I said what are you doing then? he asked me what it has to do with him.... started to get annoyed... I said, my property my business, if i can't help you with anything then bugger off! He started f-ing blinding and said he was going to come back later and steal my things!!! grrrrrrrrr.... I told him to bugger off and find someone else to annoy!
He looked like a gypo with his gypo girlfriend in toe!!
Just called 101 police line just in case they come back!
I can't believe that! They had no dog, so very strange for them to be walking on the field with a pushchair too!!! |

Gypos invaded our sports fields last summer (I work in a college), now I've got nothing against real romany gypsies who I often buy lace off but these were just a pack of thieving, vandalising scum. You wouldnt believe the mess they left behind, think raw sewage and you're there. And the palava getting someone to clean it up - if you think getting rid of your muck heap is a problem, crikey think again....
So, yes, use the wood Kirsty and back it up with a golf club.
I'm just on my lunch break, very stressful time of the year at work so am reading ALines for some light hearted chat. Can't wait to get out of this grubby city and get home to the countryside and see to the horses. |

I'm prowling the house now! made me all paranoid! just seen a few neighbours and told them... also just seen a police car drive past and slow down near mine - how responsive is that!! The gypo horrible people were right on our back gate and stayed there for 3 months - of hell!!! I used to move all their bins backs back to their caravans at night!!
we all stood waving with beers in hand the day they left.... horrible people... not true romanies at all!! just leeches! |

oh Kirsty! how horrible, def get the wood out, just for security!!! Got too much to do today and need most of the day for foal watching - have already spent 2 hours watching the new foal and more time is needed for that later today. I worked the boy for the first time properly today and on the way back (on the road) we had to walk past the mares, he got a little bit frisky and tried to cover me, with a car trying to go past!! Was sweating when got back so now need another shower. I am also attempting to make a curry for dinner and there is quite a lot to do!! knew we should have got a takeaway! oops something burning... |

Started off ok. Tried out my new seat saver and absolutely loved it. Came home to work and made myself sit here and finish before going out and sitting in the sun for half hour lunch. Got out there and the sun's gone in. Came back in looked at housework and decided - pass for half hour. Found this topic and the sun is out again so think I will go for a snooze and then tackle the house. TTFN! |
