i know how funny - not one of my friends had ever heard of a merkin and thought i was making them up. this was in the days before the internet. Honestly the first i knew was a channel 4 programme and i watched all of it and couldn't believe my eyes. i also cried with laughter. you should see they way they measure people up for them. omg - after all these years it still makes me laugh. i'm glad you "enjoyed" it. |

I'm a blonde out of a bottle recently re-touched covers the grey successfully. (Thank God)
By the way the growing of grey indicates the growth of wisdom! Some one important said that but I don't know who!

Curiosity killed th cat!!!!! My God - I am p'ing myself laughing as is our female friend having browsed this thread being a guy who until I was 20 had really light blonde hair and then went dark and then grey but to this day thankfully only on the head and on the face,,,,! Well you ladies have taken our breath away with your Merkins just had to google it and ended up on MErkin World have you seen the prices!!! OMG if female vanity comes at that price thank god I'm a guy and one that doesn't know that much about the female form - girls my heart goes out to you all I can say is grow old disgracefully and enjoy it - but have to admit we will be laughing about Merkins for weeks to come and thanks to this thread there is a cat in a rescue centre tomorrow who is going to be called Merkin - she came in today and as we were told "she is a fluffy *****" - so on an entrepenurial front who is going to start pulling their horses manes and making their own Merkins - come on girls get those knitting needles out. Ps the cat is true my friend works in a rescue centre and it was her idea. Pmsl still teach me to read these threads after having a drink. |

glue....... as simple as that. the programme showed......... a strip of glue on your area (ooer missus) which they then stuck double sided tape to and then double sided tape on the merkin and then peel of both bits of backing and hey presto. i expect things have moved on now though. lol. why would you bother........ evidently they have been around since the 1600's. i wonder how they were attached in that day. actually i don't want to know..... lol |

The poor little kitty called Merkin has caused as much controversy today as this thread - the Sanctuary owner loved the name until she found out what a merkin was lol. Will get my friend to take some pics of Merkin tomorrow and post them all for you to see - as for the granny with her fluffy little merkin well lmao is all I can say. This has got to be the most I have laughed in years really shouldnt read these threads when you have had one too many drinks as it makes you totally stupid and you come up with all sorts of weired and wonderful ideas - Lynda like everyone else the postman had me roaring.

Hi
I got the Mallen streak at 21, great blob of white from forehead down the centre I looked like a badger I thought it was cool at first, not for long though, covered it up and it's been that way ever since, I really get fed up with having it coloured now but still can't bring myself to let it grow au natural, I have a friend down the road here who has a total grey head of hair and she looks 60+ she's 50 some people it suits others NO, I think I am one of those, my brother has the same and I think it ages him he's 48.
Not for me yet
