Virtually anything, can turn my tastebuds to whatever is in the biscuit barrel. Mind you, you do need something with a bit of backbone, it's no good having anything that gives up halfway through the dunking process and commits suicide in your cup before you get it to your mouth (Peter Kay's description of Hobnobs v Rich Tea is hilarious), which of course then leads on to the question of how long is an official dunk ? Not as easy as it sounds is it.
Shortbread is the Arnold Schwarzenegger of the dunking world I think, only not as ugly. Not keen on wafer biscuits (Kit Kat's excepted as they are reinforced with chocolate) as I think they're a bit of a wimp in the dunking stakes as they can only have a novice length dunk before they fall apart. Decisions, decisions. |

Ahhh, hob nobs with or without chocolate were made for dunking! A strange one for you, but Twix .. if you bite the top and bottom off and use it as a straw, they are fantastic (if you like that kind of thing!) the biscuit and chocolate go 'dunked' soft and the caramel keeps it together ... YUMMMMMMM xx |

Cow biscuits. I can't think what they are called but they have the picture of the cow grazing on each one, hence name cow biscuits!!!! |

Geena, I think the biscuits you're refering to are 'Malted Milk'. They're one of my favourites too Don't you just hate it when they drop off & you get a vomit like paste in the bottom of the mug!!! |

Choci or non choci hobnobs (that Peter Kay sketch is fan-tas-tic ), kit kats , ginger nuts |

Well for a difference use a Penguin chocolate bar or similar
1) bite off diagonal corners
2) dunk it in hot drink
3) suck the drink up through one of the bitten off corners
4) take chocolate out of drink and eat
Its all melted and yummy !!
Someone at uni taught me this and i also saw it on the Graham Norton Show where some film star taught it to him, apparently in Australia there are tam tam bars (or something like that) that they use. |
